Always a Good Time at Yard House!
Yard House never disappoints! I’ve visited several locations, but I mainly go to the one in Gaithersburg since it’s close to where I live. It’s become one of my go-to spots, especially for Happy Hour. Their half-off appetizers and pizzas from 3-6 pm are a steal, and the $2 off drafts, wine, and cocktails really hit the spot after a long day.
The vibe? Laid-back but lively – perfect whether you’re unwinding solo or catching up with family and/or friends. The menu has something for everyone, but the chicken wings, sliders, and carnivore pizza always stand out. Plus, the beer selection is top-notch, with great local brews and crowd favorites.
The service is solid too—friendly and efficient, even when it gets busy. I’ll definitely keep coming back, probably sooner rather than later. If you’re looking for good food and great drinks without breaking the bank, Yard House is the spot to hit.
What a variety of beers, and of course, if you can drink a yard's worth of beer, why not. Had our work party come for dinner. The food was good. There was a lot going on in the flavors of the sauces, which may be a little too much.
The service here was amazing but the food was not that great. The Brussel sprouts weren’t seasoned and the sauces didn’t help. The wings were delicious as well as the drinks. The atmosphere was nice as we sat on the patio however the speaker kept going out.
Our waiter was great! The food was delicious! Their avocado toast is definitely a must try! It's a nice place to just hang out with family and friends.

My party of 4 arrived on Saturday around 4:30 PM and were surprised to see there was only a short wait of 10 mins for our table. Our server was training another server and they made sure to check up on us frequently and accommodate our needs.
The fire crack shrimp and poke nachos are a must try if you enjoy seafood. I also enjoy all of their tacos, especially vampire tacos with Parmesan crust and blackened shrimp (though I do love my seafood). I’m not the biggest beer drinker but some of the beers on tap were sweet and tasted a bit like juice so it was a great experience!
I’ve been back many times and I’ll be sure to come back again, especially for the half off appetizers during weekday happy hour! ????
Though it was a Friday night, I was seated quickly. The restrooms were decent and had seat covers. The food was amazing! The only issue I had was the noise level. The music was extremely loud. I couldn't really hear my server speak. The food came out on time as well. The salmon had some crisp to it. I really loved the way it was cooked. The veggies were cooked to perfection. I will go again.
Yummy yummy food that's made even more yummylicious by the generous 1/2 priced apps Happy Hour deal from 3 -6 pm every Mon - Fri. Perfect for an afternoon hunger craving or just an early dinner. Service is great, and the atmosphere is hoppy (a reference to hops, a key ingredient to make beer, in case you didn't know ????). Time to roll up those sleeves and nom nom nom! ????
The Yard House hit the trifecta on a busy Sunday afternoon! The food, service, and atmosphere were AMAZING! Our Server Nan was well versed on the menu items, gave us recommendations, and was very courteous with us. I believe a manager checked on us twice, even interacting with my 10 yr old. The food was very good. My wife got the lobster garlic noodles while I ordered the truffle cheese burger. Both entrees were delicious! Even the kids' pizza looked appetizing! The restaurant has a good synopsis atmosphere with a large dining room and outdoor seating overlooking the boardwalk scene in Gaithersburg along the lake. I strongly recommend this restaurant if you're in the area!
