I was very pleased with my dinner
The Ribeye was cooked a good medium rare and nicely seasoned,
The staff was friendly back just enough to make sure I was doing ok.
We were traveling, found Yarboroughs on Google. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality food we had. We all cleaned our plates. It's an old establishment, but we liked it. Friendly, efficient service and we were back on the road. Will stop again.
I give it 4 stars mostly because of the service we as a moderately large got from our waitress. The food was OK. Honestly, it's not the sort of menu offerings I would prefer. I got a crispy fried half chicken. It was not as greasy as I expected and it had good flavour.
Food was ok, had little flavor! Cealing tiles about to fall off in a few spots and bathroom could be compared to the one of a gas station. Was not clean! The waitress was nice and on top of her service. They had a couple of guys playing music, which were nice and kind of help you enjoy the place. Probably won't come back!!
I recently went for a small group event, 4 people. The food was okay.. I didn't have any problems with the cheeseburger nor fries. The service was good, but the waitress did forget to bring out my 2nd side. I decided to not ask for that to be fixed so that we could just get on with the meal. The bottle of ketchup on the table was quite sour, so that did affect the taste of the fries by a lot. The chocolate peanut butter pie was pretty good.
The most positive aspect of my visit was the pricing, as I found all of the food to be reasonably priced. Also, they have Cheerwine on fountain, even though it tasted a bit odd.
Very disappointed. Many referrals to here. If you're looking for home cooking it's OK, Service is scattered, one minutev they check on u twice inside of three minutes then disappear for 10, drinks take forever to arrive and both of ours were wrong, my date had hers remade and it was still bad.
I’ve lived in Lexington all my life but never had been to Yarborough’s before last night. It was delicious, reasonable priced and the waitress, Anna, was great. Cheryl was also very nice. We will be back!
Upon walking in there is a smell of "old" carpet. This is an old place, but is unpleasant. The food was just ok. Twice baked potatos was mashed potatoes in a bowl with cheese. The steak had no flavor. Lexington Tap House is better. Was very disappointed after seeing a 4+ rating. Will not return.
