Husband and I celebrated my birthday here. First trying to get here was confusing. You have to park then find the elevator go downstairs then filing the restaurant. Which they had different ones. Walk into the restaurant. It wasn’t crowded but reservations were at 9 but it was nice and pleasant. Given it romantic vibes. The good was good the drinks was better. It’s pricey for some of the meals are small. Overall good and parking is free for two hours
Had a fantastic experience at Yao the ambiance and food was absolutely amazing! My partner got the garlic fried chicken and I got the rack of lamb. The garlic fried chicken was packed with flavor and was fried to absolute perfection. The rack of lamb was delicate and cooked beautifully. Our server Angwoon was absolutely phenomenal and made the night. She was very attentive and gave excellent food recommendations. After seeing the new Michelin star guide for Atlanta I am surprised this place is not there it is truly a hidden gem. Will come back.
My husband brought me here to Yao for an early anniversary dinner. I have to say i didnt expect the service and quality of food i received! Our waiter Miguel was spectacular probably the best server i’ve ever had. And the food was amazing i had the salmon penang it is one of the best I've ever had. My husband loved the kao soi. But i cant forget the mussels i highly recommend! The drinks are very good. Finally but not least the dessert the Yao ice cream is really really good and the presentation just knocks it out the park! Highly recommend a date night here!
I really wanted to like this restaurant as its got a great vibe & interior. But the food didn’t deliver in taste & freshness. The Tom yum soup & potstickers were pretty good, but the crab fried rice tasted stale & didn’t have enough crab. The garlic chicken was dry & tough. Free Parking available for 2hrs in the lot above. Celebrated friends birthday at this location! We had a private section for a group of 25, birthday lunch on a Saturdayafternoon. This place is a hidden gem near perimeter mall.
The decor is simply breathtaking, with intricate details and a harmonious blend of traditional and modern elements.
Love the floral decor on the ceilings.
We ordered edamame, fresh spring rolls and fried spring rolls...Everything on our table was nice and fresh.
For the mains we tried, oyster mushrooms satay , pad thai noodles with veggies and tofu, roti canai. It was flavourful and delicious. Other friends ordered fish, duck, It looked amazing too... Drinks were good as well!
Overall it is a great casual spot for having lunch or dinner with friends or family.
Exactly what I was hoping for and expected. Service was excellent! We started with Ms and Mr Yao beverages and the appetizer sampler, stunning! They brought me the incorrect meal but corrected the mistake promptly and the food was DELISH! Hope to go again soon. The ambiance was super chill, drinks were delicious and beautiful as well.
The ambiance is really good vibe. It was dark but still cool. The food was superb and delicious. We really enjoyed everything that was ordered. Definitely recommend if you’re into Asian cuisine with a flair. The mango spicy margarita was not my favorite. I would order something else, it tasted creamy, not what my tastebuds were expecting. But the Love Sushi Roll and Crab Rice 10/10.
The food was amazing! The atmosphere was incredible and the staff were very nice! The coconut ice cream was fascinating to watch and tasted even better. I would definitely come back here again with more fiends!
