Best WLM Reviews
The food here was better than expected! Usually we find most Chinese-American food to be quite salty, but that wasn’t the case here.
The portions were generous, the service was pretty quick, and the atmosphere was quiet (we came in on a Friday for lunch, so there was only a handful of people at the restaurant). We’d like to come back to try some other dishes!
I was seating at 1:15p and happy to see they had a lunch special daily. Was brought a water and soda that I ordered. That was the last service I received and no one would come back for my order. Finally at 2:10 I went and paid for the soda I didn’t touch and left.
First time ordering from them and OMG, YUCK! The food sucks! Lo mein noodles were angel hair spaghetti, the fried rice was looked a day old and the beef veggie stir fry was salty! 1st and last time! I'm asian and I can cook way better than them.
This Chinese restaurant was recommended by someone at our hotel and it did not disappoint. We ordered on the phone for pickup and our food was ready quickly. They offer the lunchbox special all day, so if you don’t want an entire quart of food this is a great option. The sesame chicken was really good and stayed crispy even when I had leftovers the next day. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
I recently placed a pick up order for shrimp fried rice. I went to the restaurant, picked up my order only to find that they gave me chicken fried rice instead. Instead of apologizing and making things right, they flat out, told me that I was lying and that I placed the order wrong. So I went back the second time and picked up the shrimp fried rice order. When I brought that order home, it was full of eggshells. So I decided to give Yang’s a call back and speak with the manager. The manager was rude, refused to give me my refund back, pretty much told me I was a liar and I did not deserve their business. I have frequently patronized Yang’s since 1989. In the past, I have recommended other people try their food. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. The manager was yelling , irate, and very unprofessional. I will never buy anything from this restaurant again. The service was awful and the food is not the way it used to be. The manager did not care about inconveniencing me a third time. She wanted me to make a third trip to bring the food back and that was the only way she would refund me my money back. She hung up on me when I called her the first time. Then I called her back again. There was no Apology volunteered. I had to force an apology from them When I went back the second time to get the right food I ordered. That apology was fake. Eat there at your own risk. I should have read the other reviews before deciding to order from this place. If I could give a zero, I would.
Best sesame chicken around!! Ordering take out is easy. I haven’t eaten anything but Sesame Chicken a few times and it’s been excellent each time. The Lunch Size is great for one person and comes with fried rice.
I love this place, best sesame chicken! They make it with the sauce on instead of the sauce on the side like sweet and sour chicken. Fast service for how busy and small the kitchen is. The won tons are really good also. They are thick instead of thin and crunchy like some places, I like both kinds.
Ordered the D combo with sweet and source pork, egg foo young, and rice. The pork was battered and the added texture with the sauce tasted wonderful. The egg foo young was one of the best I've had. Excellent food and quantity for the price!
