Great breakfast and burger joint, in downtown Swansboro, but get here early cuz they close at 2! We had cheeseburgers and home cut fries. Order was ready in less than 20 minutes. Burgers were huge and cooked to order, with a nice amount and combination of garnishes. Came with a side of chili, which was too sweet for my taste but that doesn't mean you won't love it! You can't miss this place. It's the one with the big Elvis statue at the door.
Over 1000 reviews and 4.6 stars!! Yes it was that great. It always is. I’m just surprised i didn’t get to a review sooner.
The atmosphere is nostalgic yet electric. The service is always friendly. Kinda like going to my grandmas :)

The best fruit fritters! Literally deep fried fruit covered in powdered sugar. Burgers are great as well. Building is very small so best to visit at off times if possible.
I am not "an Elvis fan" but the Elvis theme is tasteful and not too over the top.
This may be the BEST diner I've been to yet! It's too much in a good way! We had to try the Fritters as they claim to be famous for them....and yes, they should be famous for them, they are SO GOOD! We had a full serving and did 1/2 strawberry and 1/2 apple. The fritters are made with fresh fruit and made to order. They are fantastic and a must try! Our breakfast was very good. The littles loved the Mickey Mouse pancake. Coffee is fresh and server and all staff are friendly and focused on making sure you have a great meal. We will be back for more fritters and to try the lunch menu!
We stopped for lunch and had the peach fritters. We also had the double bacon cheeseburgers. Amazing food and great service.
It had been a few years since we were back in the area, but knew we had to go to Yana’s. The food was terrific as always. Yana’s grandson has kept her memory alive and well. The breakfast was amazing as were the apple fritters. Highly recommend if you are ever near Swansboro, NC!
The food had no taste none. Me and my wife had 2 bacon cheese burgers and unsweetened tea and a water they charged $28.53. No sides nothing. We placed our order and took hour and 10 min to get our food. We were sat next to the restrooms and it smelled like they had a plumbing back up issue. The table next to us had to ask for seasoning for his burger never refilled our drinks after asking twice and I asked for some ranch dressing that I never received. The place looks nice but it is not worth the money. We had to wait about 5 min at the door even though tables were open because the lady was talking to the cooks that seat you. We finally got a seat and it took so long for the one waitress to come ask what we wanted. The older lady that just take people to the seats and give tickets just on her phone or talking. We waited forever for our ticket we finally just got up and walked to the door and paid she said you have to wait for you ticket. I responded I waited hour 10 min for my food and waited 20 min for my ticket after asking and she never came back so just ring me up so I can leave. We waited so long for the dang food that we missed the whole street dance show, missed the Christmas tree lightning and over have the live band we drove 2 hours to see this and missed all of it so we left and played mini golf and games at bowling alley. Very disappointing. Also we saw people that came in after us had received their food and had started eating before we even got our food. It was disappointing to see people eating after we ordered way before they even entered the building. It appears they cook one table at a time and if at the bar they put you first. Never going back again. Even one hot dog is 7bucks they charge a dollar per anything added. So our burger was 7 bucks I added mustard and ketchup it went to 9 bucks. 4.00 for a glass of water is insane to me. The burger is small we literally paid 28.53 and left went to McDonald's got 2 happy meals and it tasted better.
What a wonderful place to go! The food was wonderful and the ladies that waited on us were absolutely fabulous. It was our first time there and they asked us to try the fritters they are famous for having. They sure were great. I highly recommend that everyone visit Jana’s for a great meal and wonderful atmosphere
