If you ever have the opportunity stop by this place hopefully Emily is your server/bartender/Korean BBQ extraordinaire. Emily was extremely knowledgeable of the products which was more than helpful for us because we’ve never dined there before. We had the chicken katsu to start, the beef noodle bowl, grilled pork belly and thinly sliced beef, and the hard / hot rock n roll (?) sushi roll. Emily really made our entire experience incredible with her personality, knowledge, and service. We will definitely make the drive to revisit Emily and to enjoy this outstanding place once again. Thank you team!
Went for the first time and loved it. Never been to a Korean restaurant were you can cook for yourself a fun experience for a date night with the wife. Didn't really know what I was doing at first but the server ( waiter ) was nice enough to walk us through it. All in all I'm planning on going back with the kids they'll definitely love this place.
I had a good time at this place! The barbecue was really tasty, and they give you a good amount. Plus, the side dishes can be refilled once for free. Besides the grill options, they also have a regular menu with other choices. Definitely a great spot for Korean BBQ lovers!
Fantastic Korean food! The Kimchi and Green Onion pancake was delicious and so was the Kimchi Jjigae. You know you’re gonna have something great when you get Banchan. Just wish the BBQ part was more affordable/available if you’re eating solo.
Been here twice! The first time wasn't a good experience because of our rude server, but the second time was great. Aside from our server being friendly, the food was really good! The place is clean and has a great ambiance. Just be aware of what you order, the price is a bit expensive.
Been coming here for years since it first opened. The service was great and the food was perfect. Over time the prices continued and the portions were smaller. Since it first opened nothing has changed. The menu is still the same boring menu with nothing to make it unique or exciting. The same options just smaller portions. The service is a hit or miss and you will have waitresses fight over tables because they add gratuity to everything. They forced me to tip for togo food. I understand that you'll tip for the service and the cook but the fact that at times i never even get a refill because they are understaffed does not help me appreciate the lack of service. The workers there are hard at work but 2-3 girls for the whole sad. I know it will only get worse due to the economy is getting worse every year. I hope this place just gets more creative with their menu or revamp it.
We’ve explored quite a few Korean BBQ here in SoFlo and have to say Yaki truly exceeded our expectations and one of the best places for those looking to grill. We went there on a Sunday for lunch and there was very little people so no need reservations.
Everything from the meat quality, grill quality to the condiments were delicious. The staff were also friendly.
Looking at the menu, the other dishes also look delicious so will definitely need to return.
Place now earns a zero unless you go to sit at the bar or now most go to the booths but prepare to over pay for everything. The cooking tops they won't cook for anymore, and our stove AGAIN this time was far too hot and burned all the food, and then they came to reduce the heat and then it went out in the middle of the cook so they had to restart and kind of get back up to temp. We used to like the place, but it's a Zero now.. The only things positive to say is that you can hear some cool Korean Pop music in a decent environment. But if you want the worst service ever, and cook your own food for 4x the cost, this is your place.
