Half my group was Canadian and regardless of the Oregon Liquor Control Commission explicitly stating that “An unexpired and unaltered driver license from a U.S. state, the District of Columbia, or a province or territory of Canada” are valid as a sole piece of ID the Canadians were not allowed to enter the bar with their Canadian drivers licenses. Then without warning, as the Canadians were coming back with their passports, security said “you’re drinking outside my bar, I’m not letting any of you in” and slammed the door. The whole experience was extremely rude, security was highly abrasive, and there was no respect provided to potential patrons. I would highly recommend frequenting another establishment given the choice.

I give this place a solid 5 stars because it is the most DIVE’eeeee-DIVE BAR I have ever encountered in my pursuit of dive bars!
Haha…and if you’re anything like me, I’m a lady but not that much of a lady. Meaning I LOVE me a rouge around the edges, real character, real stories, real drinks type of place.
Seriously a great place. And wait until you see the wall art! Uffff…
One of the best dive bars I’ve ever been to. Apparently it’s been around since 1933, and it wears it well! Straightforward simple affordable drinks in a poorly lit graffiti covered bar, the identity of a true dive bar!

Dive bar for sure. A lot to look at including the graffiti on the walls. The place has character. Cheap drinks, generous pours. The bartender was precious. Bags of chips and jerky sticks plus a menu of things cooked in a microwave oven. I didn’t try any food but I would if I was hungry.
Best dive bar ever! Neil was friendly and provided wonderful service. Friendly crowd that may have resulted in some lasting friendships. One of the highlights of our Portland vacation. We will definitely be back
Wonderful vibes at this place. Kaid and Mando are some of the best bartenders and they are great with us Deafies who love to come here. Super divey but it’s absolutely welcoming and warm to all as long you behave yourself. Great service and good prices for drinks.

Grimy, grungy, dive bar. The service was great. Great spot to prefunk for a downtown event. Right off the train line. Cheap. Didn't try the food.
