Forget the reviews you’ve read from the past, we were just there and it’s fabulous. The service was great and the food arrived quickly. The shrimp, chicken, rice, steak, and vegetables were cooked to perfection. The flavor was optimal and we couldn’t have hoped for better. The portions were good and I didn’t feel like I needed more. We plan on going back soon. Prices were decent considering the high quality.
Wow. I wasn’t expecting to be blown away cuz the overall rating is mediocre but I love it. I got the nigiri sashimi combo and the fish was fresh and it was a generous portion. I usually leave hungry when I get sashimi but I was able to take half home with me. Miso soup and salad was good and my husband’s habachi chicken was fine. Loved the free fried wontons they give you too. Will be my 1st place to go for sushi!
Absolutely wonderful place to eat the staff are nice and friendly and also professional. I recommend the chicken katsu and yakiniku. Place inside is beautiful and serene.
The restaurant has a very comfortable and charming atmosphere and decor. The staff are very friendly, the service is quick, with water and snacks being offered alongside the menus, and the food is delicious. The sushi is very tasty, with many different varieties and options offered, and is served with wasabi, pickled ginger, and soy sauce.
Great place for a large meal or even just a quick lunch! Very easily accessible from the highway too.
I had an alright hibachi meal at Yamato, but my overall impression was that I've had better hibachi elsewhere for the same price. My steak was overcooked—ordered medium but received well done. The service, cleanliness, and atmosphere/decor were very good.
The food was amazing when my family
went. The server was very nice and took very good care of us. The food during their transition was such a letdown, so to go to the new building and the food quality is back up to standard was fantastic.
I highly recommend this place. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was interesting and cool. I also really enjoyed how the food was presented not only did it taste good but it even came too our table in the neat wooden boat. Definitely a great place too eat out if you enjoy asian cuisine.
I really want to leave a great review...but, I just can't. Yamato's recently moved locations and they may still be settling in.
Our waitress was very nice. She was also very busy, therefore, not being the most attentive. It is pretty dark in the restaurant making it hard for me to read the menu. Some of the food wasn't warm when it came out. My son's bento box was given to another person and he received their order. I hadn't received my entire meal (filet mignon) and was asked if I was ready for the check. My son was still waiting for one correct item from his meal that we asked to have packaged to go.
The waitress profusely apologized and my son was given 1/2 off his meal and we received a card for a free appetizer at our next visit.
