Best WLM Reviews
Our first time at this restaurant, with a 45 minute wait. The attractive thing is that there is a discount for those who have a birthday on the day they go. The bad thing is that they charge you an 18% tip without warning, and we’re only my husband and myself. They seat you in the wrong place, and unfortunately we were at the table with a 2-year-old boy, who did nothing but scream.
A very lackluster & expensive experience. I ordered the filet Mignon which came with rice a salad and a soup and I ordered a Bloody Mary with top shelf vodka. The Bloody Mary was very simple they didn't even put olives. Celery or a bacon strip in it and no salt around the outer edges of the glass, it was very bland tasting and it was top shelf and it cost $12. The Filet mignon was very thin and was on the tough side, please look at the pictures you don't really get that much for the money you're paying. The rice only had 4 eggs in it to split with 8 people may as well not add any eggs. The little salad you get the lettuce tasted like they had been in the refrigerator too long, not so fresh and a little on the stale side. I also had the suku suku shrimp for an appetizer and they were very good but not so spicyike they claim. So for a party of 2 it was just over a $100 plus a $20 tip and would I eat there again not on your life. I cannot recommend this restaurant due to the lack luster taste and quality of the food and drinks versus price.
I loved going here. The guy who was cooking the food was very entertaining and funny. The food was really good. I was sooo full but had a lot of leftovers that I enjoyed at home ???? If you haven't been here you should.
My first time here and after I received this salad on my birthday mmmm it’s a no and my thing is how do you even have the nerve to look at this and serve it. Who ever is in the kitchen needs to be fired. This is disgraceful disgusting disrespectful on all levels.
Dining out for a special occasion and I had an amazing experience. Bri our server with the cool sleeve tattoos, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu selections. Our chef chi chi did an equally great job with his skill and performance in preparing our meal. We had a few special requests with the meal and he was very kind and accommodating with our requests. The steak he prepared for me was very likely the best I've had in a restaurant setting ever. Based on this experience I will absolutely be back again and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family. Very well done.
August 2024 Update: the birthday BOGO deal is no longer valid for the week before/after your birthday. It is now on your birthday ONLY
Fun, entertaining meal for couples or families. We've been coming to this location for a few years now and it's consistently good, occasionally great. Birthday special - come within one week of your birthday (bring your ID) and you can get a free dinner with the purchase of another dinner. Just be aware they add 18% gratuity automatically when you do this deal. A regular meal will set you back about $35+ for 2 people. Add drinks or anything else and you're in the $50+ range.
Like most Japanese steakhouses, it's all about getting the right chef in terms of overall experience, but the food is consistently good here. The prices are reasonable, just be aware you get 6 shrimp when you order that as part of your meal.
All in all, a good spot for a fun meal with friends. You definitely get plenty of food and will likely have enough to take home some leftovers as well.
Been here quite a few times over the years and can say the experience has always been very good, (except once when the food was too salty). Other than that the food and the chef have been excellent.
Awesome experience! The chef was super nice and friendly. The food was amazing and very filling, you could also take it home if you don't finish it. Overall, 5/5 it was amazing. Great service and great food.
