My son introduced me to this restaurant and we come here every time we come to town. The food is plentiful,delicious, and there is never a wait. We have a lunch special and some excellent sushi, for under 30$ for two of us. I appreciate the affordability and large portions. We always take some home. This is a small family owned and operated business and I love to support them. Contrary to some reviews on here, Nancy, the server/hostess, is a personable, entertaining individual. If you don't get to know her, you don't see her very dry sense of humor. Right now she has an infected molar and a couple months ago they lost her brother. We don't know what people are going through, and can be much more compassionate if we try. I hope they stay in business for a very long time.
This place is amazing. Every time I go I’m always satisfied with my experience. I have major stomach issue and never have any problems eating here. The food has amazing flavors and always excited to try something new.
The staff here is amazing. They always take care of me and anything I need. I come here often and highly recommend this spot. I dine in and order to go and I always receive amazing service and food. Thank you for the attention to detail and the friendly family atmosphere that you provide.
The sushi and food at this restaurant is highly recommended. It is truly delicious and the best in town. If you are ever in the mood for sushi, this is the place to go, food is very decorative. I highly recommend it as my favorite restaurant.
We tried Yama for the 1st time yesterday. They had pretty decent sushi for it being a land locked state. Our only thing was that one of the ladies who tried to help us was not very nice. We asked a question and she started yelling at other employees in a different language and we could tell she was being extremely agitated. After that, another server took over. Thank God! Everything went smooth for the rest of our experience.
This place is amazing! The service was wonderful and the staff is so sweet. They really try to connect with you and make you feel comfortable and welcome. The sushi was so great, and worth every penny! My boyfriend and I ate so much and it was less than $50! I highly recommend this place and we will be back really soon.
Second time we’ve eaten here, gonna be the last. First time we got sick for two days. This time we were smart enough to notice the rainbow meat before we ate it. We ended up throwing out the entire order, what a waste. They didn’t read the instructions either.
We had an interesting experience here. The first thing we noticed was the strong sewer smell when you walk in. Overall the service was good, with the exception of the hostess who would yell random things at us and even slapped a small child’s hand. I’m not sure she should be front of house as she is very good at making people feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. The food was quick, portions decent, quality good, sushi was ok.
