Best WLM Reviews
Not the Yalla I remember. It has certainly gone down hill. I use to adore this salad for lunch. Even though it was 15 bucks I spent my money because it was filled with herbs, beets and beautiful lettuce. Now it’s the same price, drenched in sauce and the lettuce of the 3dollar salad from Lidils. I’m not impressed and the owners need to take a look at the mush their associates are slopping together
Food was so bad it is insane... If there is a chef back there then he should be ashamed!
EVERYTHING was cold... The meat was clearly from the night before and tastes like it sat on a dirty greasy surface!
I recommend locating Yalla and then turn around and go to Jai Ho that is immediately across the hall
. The food is soo much better...
My food is going in the trash! Never coming back.
Had a great experience eating lunch at Yalla. The staff was very friendly and gave good recommendations for the meal. We got an Olive plate (which included pickles, capers, and cauliflower pickled as well), a falafel plate, falafel pita, and a chicken schwarma pita. The only slight critique I would give was the chicken schwarma pita was a bit heavy on the pickles inside, so keep that in mind if someone in your family doesn’t like them. The falafel’s were fried fresh in front of us. They were served in very nice containers. The only thing I gave a four star was the atmosphere. You have to pay to park (4.00 for one hour) and then there was no seating available on a weekday at 12:30 so that was a bummer. Everything else was awesome. Keep on, Yalla!
For a bowl priced over $20 you would think you’d get a lil more substance. I always have to order “extra” & it’s still the same bowl! Paid $3 for extra eggplant. It was the same amount as a regular bowl. This is a constant thing like they just don’t care or can’t afford to spare them? Idk? They change the minute for what reason idk other than to be annoying. There’s never a line when I go so that’s in itself says a lot. New restaurants are moving in yet they have the audacity to be high priced and mid at best.
It's okay. They're definitely a little overpriced. We ordered 2 shawarma bowls and it came up to over $30, and we didn't even get any drinks.
As far as quality goes....it's okay, it's serviceable.
One things for sure, is that the food does look really pretty aesthetically. Check out the picture below.
Delicious!!! I'm vegan and I got the falafel pita but replaced the labne with extra tahini, so good!!!!!
This place was AMAZING! I got “The Shouk” bowl and it was so good. The girl working there was so nice and friendly, and my food was done really quickly. The flavors all went together really well, and they were knowledgeable about gluten free options. Word to the wise: the harissa hot sauce is EXTREMELY SPICY! I’d recommend getting it on the side so you can customize the amount you want. $16, and enough food where I definitely got very full before finishing it. Cheers!
I LOVE THE FOOD, NO DOUBT. AND THE FOLKS ARE NICE. BUT THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME MY PITA WAS LEFT OUT OF MY ORDER, AND YES I ORDERED IT. STAFF MADE A BIG DEAL OF GETTING IT, BUT OBVIOUSLY PUT IT IN THE WRONG BAG. DID NOT FIND OUT UNTIL I GOT BACK TO MY OFFICE WORKING VERY LATE. THE PLACE WAS NEAR EMPTY, JUST SUCKS, HIGHLIGHT OF A ROUGH DAY? NOT, GET IT TOGETHER, I HAVE WORKED IN FOOD SERVICE, AT THIS TYPE OF ESTABLISHMENT, IT IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE.
