Best WLM Reviews

I went for a drive & discovered this AMAZING gem! The grounds are ideal for a wedding - only a fool would pass up this opportunity!
And... I imagine their wedding cakes would be superb as all of the bakery items I ate were DELICIOUS! I'm so excited to have found this place! I'm definitely going back for more but maybe this time, I'll swing by a little earlier to try the breakfast menu.
I can finally say that I've been to Yalaha.
We came for lunch and came with an appetite. The area to order for the Deli was in a separate room from the Bakery, so there was not a huge line to order our lunch. However, the room is a cramped space and you can't really read the menu on the wall until you are at the register. There is a very limited breakfast/lunch menu, and the portions felt small for the price. The meal itself was very tasty though. But still, I wouldn't go out of my way to dine here.
The indoors seating selection is minimal with the AC working overtime near the Bakery barely making a dent in the heat. The deli side felt much cooler, but still only had about four tables meant to comfortably seat two people.
The bakery is why you come. The selection is vast and literally everything looks good. Since it was our first time here, we definitely picked more options than normal to-go to try later. I'm happy to report that everything we tasted was amazing, and never too sweet. The Bavarian cream pastries are just heaven.
The outdoors area looks beautiful and shaded and I'd like to return in the winter to enjoy that atmosphere.
All in all, it's a strange location, in the middle of nowhere, but it opens up this portal to a quaint German countryside atmosphere with delicacies meant to bring a smile to your face.
So I use my RV to go around the country and I love to eat out and explore new places. This is a must stop! Prices are not bad. I really enjoyed what I got. Coffee was super tasty. Very clean and great deserts and breads. I'll definitely be coming back to this spot.
Have you ever wondered what German pastry heaven would look like?
Well, look no further, Yalaha Bakery is what you've been dreaming of!
My husband and I have been searching for a German bakery since we both have a sweet tooth for baked goodies. He's been telling me about how legendary German goulash tastes since before we got married (it's been a few years now ????) and the Yalaha Bakery menu mentioned seasonal soup including goulash so of course we had to stop here. We visited on a rainy Wednesday afternoon around 4:45 pm.
This place has modest architecture and a small parking lot, but don't let that fool you since as soon as you open the door, there are 4 glorious levels of tasty treats under a refrigerated glass display and fresh bread in shelves behind the counter. There were about 4 customers in the shop and a few others that came in while we were ordering. Everything looked so delectable, so it was hard to choose from the huge variety!
Our bakery order ended up being quite large, so I'm glad my husband brought the cooler with him. We got 1 rhubarb pie (for a gift), 1 rhubarb streusel (another gift), 1 apple streusel, 1 German apple pie, 1 tiramisu, 2 lavender shortbread cookies, 1 eclair, 1 cream horn, 1 Brazilian caramel bar, 4 pretzel rolls, and 4 large pretzels. There might be a few other things as well. The order was about $125 with tip. Excellent customer service by the counter girl, and she was very patient while we were deciding on things.
After we packed our pastries in the cooler, we went back to check out the deli section. They had a lot of German deli items to choose from, but what I was really interested in was the goulash.
The very kind counter lady (possibly the owner?) took my order, and I couldn't have asked for a heartier, soul-warming soup for about $6. The meat was cooked to soft perfection. The veggies (peppers, tomato, and potato if I recall correctly) melted away while you sipped the soup that tasted like it was made by your favorite extra-skilled German grandma. I was in stew heaven. Of course, I shared a few spoonfuls with my husband, and it was gone in a few minutes.
All in all, we discovered that Yalaha Bakery is a hidden gem ???? in Yalaha, FL. If you love bakeries and handmade treats like we do, this is a great place to visit. Prepare your bank account to splurge on pastries, artisan German bread, and remember to stop by the deli!
We'll be back again next time we're in the area on one of our road trips. ???????? ????❤️????
Fantastic assortment of breads and pastries as well as a selection of German favorites for breakfast and lunch. Lunch begins at 11:15. 4 stars on atmosphere only because limited inside dining, but wonderful biergarten.
Where is Yalaha, FL? ????????‍♀️Well right next to Heaven !???? And that’s exactly what this bakery is???? Cute, little, German ???????? bakery out in the Florida country side????middle of nowhere, but you have to go and try a few of their delicious pastries ???? and coffee ☕️I promise you won’t be disappointed.
Enchanting and beautiful, Yalaha bakery is worth discovering! Everything is fresh and delicious. I had the most delightful breakfast of eggs, bratwurst, and potato pancake with applesauce, then finished with the most lucious bavarian cream croissant. The building is a work of art. The staff are courteous, friendly, and will get your order up fast! Then you can relax in the outdoor eating area under a canopy of jacaranda blooms and ferns.
Excellent breads, desserts and meals. We stopped in while traveling to a meeting and ordered foods. We had many leftovers and took them with us to our hotel room, where we could enjoy the food the next day. If anything, the flavors were better!
Two days later we returned to purchase treats and foods that we lamented about not buying the first day. I’m planning a return trip.
