Best WLM Reviews

This restaurant was amazing!! So many choices to eat here!! I really wanted a virgin bloody mary & the waiter made me one! I asked for a water with a ton of lemons I got that! The hangover burger was delicious!! So much flavor the meat was perfectly seasoned. The tomatoes had fresh taste. Everyone enjoyed their meal! Our service was amazing, the bathrooms were nice, clean & the restaurant was good busy.
Excellent food options that are healthy and can be vegan or made vegan. Very friendly staff and super nice vibe/atmosphere.
The drinks are also really good and the prices are more than reasonable considering the quality and the service. It’s also ideally located for a nice walk downtown.
I would really recommend.
Great place on The Strand to eat. There are a variety of unique food options (the Scotch Eggs are to die for)! It is a family friendly environment which offers both indoor and outdoor seating. It’s not a huge establishment, and seating inside is cozy. I have been here a few times, but this is my first review.
I recently visited Yaga's Café in downtown Galveston, Texas, and had a fantastic experience. The ambiance was great, and we had a perfect spot to people-watch from our table. At one point, a guy even walked by with a snake around his shoulders – quite the sight!
The food was absolutely delicious, and I have to give a special mention to the Dirty Monkey frozen drink – it was amazing! The servers were really sweet and provided excellent service throughout our visit.
If you find yourself in the Galveston area, I highly recommend stopping by Yaga's Café. It's a wonderful place to relax, enjoy great food and drinks, and take in the local scene.
Just came in for drinks and appetizer. Got the chips and queso with the Hurricane ???? drink. Would highly recommend the speciality drink. The place wasn’t very busy and staff was friendly and accommodating. Would recommend for anyone interested in a quick bite.
We had a family lunch at this legendary Strand restaurant on Memorial Day Weekend. We enjoyed “mounds” of shrimp, coconut shrimp, “funky” chicken fajitas, crawfish and shrimp flautas, and mac and cheese for the 12-year-old granddaughter. Service was attentive and friendly, food was served in nice sized portions and fairly priced.
The food is okay. The coffee is standard diner coffee (bland and weak but not bitter). Service is friendly and attentive. But be sure to read the fine print on the menu! The salmon and spinach Benedict uses fried eggs, not poached, with no hollandaise sauce and no bread. And don't bother asking for a refill of the coffee: they will charge you for a second cup even though they just topped off your existing cup. No regrets but I certainly won't be back!
The atmosphere was fantastic. It's a quaint cafe with an outside patio to sit at. We stayed inside because it was so hot. Our waitress was so sweet (I can't remember her name! Maybe Sophia? Ling dark hair, khaki cargos, kind of a quieter voice) and quick to get refills and our orders in. The crawfish croquettes were phenomenal; full of flavor and the perfect texture. My husband had the Death Burger and I had the Baja tacos (blackened fish) - the burger was incredible; intense flavor (in a good way), juicy and you didn't get a bad bite. My baja tacos were fabulous - such a refreshing, party-in-your-mouth flavor and the rice + beans on the side were delicious. Highly recommend visiting this joint if you're ever in the Galveston area!
