I honestly don't think this hotel has been updated or deep cleaned since the 80's. The floors, furniture, ceilings, bathroom - everything - looked unclean. The ceilings were blackened near the air vents and I couldn't decide if it was mold or just years of dust. The closet door and several cabinets were barely hanging on. Dresser drawers were mostly unusable. The bed sheets looked clean, but the bed itself was a dirty relic. The balcony was about 1 foot wide (barely large enough for 1 person to stand on). On the positive side, the location was pretty convenient, although we could hear the traffic at night. We were able to park for most of our trip and walk everywhere. We never saw housekeeping for 4 days, but the staff we did see were friendly and helpful. It's a place to stay as a last resort, but there are better places if you have options.
This is a good place to stay, mainly because of its proximity to the center. Pier is close as well. Weather was a bit rainy/stormy, so we made use of lazy river and hot tub. Hot tub was very disappointing. Wasn't heated first try but it was so loaded with chlorine or bleach, that wife and her friend got their bathing suits bleached out. Can't be good. Managed to snag a parking spot at hotel location. Rooms are starting to show their age and not enough outlets, in bedroom area, for recharging phones, watches and hearing aids. Had to use kitchenette area, which had plenty of outlets. WiFi kept disconnecting, but when connected, seemed to have enough bandwidth to meet our needs. We're kind of low maintenance, so our needs were fairly we met. We try to stay here when we get a chance for a beach run. Too bad they don't allow pets. Overall, a good choice, but being close to center kicks the price up. They are close to Olympic Flame restaurant, for good breakfasts. I'd recommend if price isn't too much of a sticking point.
If I could leave a negative number as a review, I would. This place is a true dump. I don't know if those pictures are AI generated, but, baby, this ain't it. The bed, mattress was thin and hard as a rock. The walls were dirty. There was no heat and no one to contact about this. There is no balcony. The furniture was very dirty and outdated. And on top of the filth, they have the nerve to ask for a $200 deposit for what. So ridiculous. They need to remove those pictures.
Don’t let the fancy building fool you!!! Room had roaches!!! AC hardly worked. Pools are small and hot tub outside is just gross.
We booked our room after eight and was not able to check in. We had no where to stay after midnight when we arrived. Security Guard stated nothing he can do. They said they would refund the one day. Two Days Later still no refund. Only thing great about this place is the location is right at pier 14 if you like to fish.

Let’s see… this was the absolute worst resort I have ever stayed in! The air barely worked, the ceiling looked like it was starting to fall in in the bathroom along with mold. Also the balcony was super small, couldn’t even walk out side. The pools were absolutely disgusting! The dishes that were in the cabinets were nasty and looked like they were about to fall apart. The bathtub still had sand in it from the previous people that stayed there. And to top it off we had to ask for clean sheets as soon as we got there. I most definitely do not recommend staying at this resort! They need to do a complete remodel on all rooms!
It’s not really bad, but rooms and installations are very old and no maintenance. I paid extra for a beach front room and I got a room next to the kids pool - had to keep the curtains closed since I got in the room. If you’re not going to spend anytime in the hotel is fine, but if you want to enjoy the installation look for something else.
the location of this property can not be beat. it is walking distance to a lot of prime restaurants, the sky wheel, shopping, the beach. however, this property is very outdated. i stayed for 3 days and housekeeping never came once. i ended up purchasing my own toilet paper and cleaning supplies. the hall outside my room was not cleaned my entire trip. the tub did not have a knob. the bedroom in my "suite" was so claustrophobic we opted to sleep on the pull out couch in the living room area. the elevators were smelly & dirty. the staff was less than friendly as well. i would not stay here again.
Been there several years, most stays were enjoyed, last stay jacuzzi tube was down in room staff moved us to another location, no heat and it was in the 30s. All was not lost Staff was wonderful about everything want to thank those ladies.
