Best WLM Reviews

I sometime wish you add a + to your stars. Yiorgos was our exceptional server today. We sat, had water and had time to look at the menu. We initially asked for a couple of appetizers and soup. He profusely apologized that serving nearly 1000 customers a day this time of year, our choices weren't available. He did assist us in choosing some suggested options and we ended up having a delicious meal. Cocktails were on the high end for prices, but were very tasty. Food portions are very generous. Side note, they have an amazing amount of Christmas decorations????
I didn't add as many photos of the dishes as normal because we arrived hungry and I would tender the photos after we had eaten most of the food on the dish.
They go all out for Christmas decorations and the food is probably comparable to one of the best restaurants I've been too. Granted it's a bit pricey but you are definitely getting what you paid for.
It is very busy and food may take a while to come out, but everything was great. The only thing I tried and thought it could be better was the turokafteri. That was too creamy and not spicy enough. Everything else we tried was great.
Parking at the mall during the holidays is crazy and their menu is reduced separately for the holidays too have things that are easier to serve fast (although there were a few delays getting things out, and I only forgive them because the quality was great and they were packed).
The only real complaint for me was where it said modern Greek cuisine in the menu and the dishes were not Greek at all. We were even joking with my brother in law saying that they had Greek clam chowder because the dishes were not Greek and at most had some feta in them and do they were "baptized" Greek.
I would like to go back when it's not crazy for to the holiday season.
Disappointed with the food and prices. None of the items were worth the price. The spinach and artichoke was decent. The Gemista was not good-the pepper was very bitter. My husband mentioned the lamb was very disappointing as per the price. The meatballs were good. They did put the decor for Christmas which looks nice and festive. There’s a belly dancer who goes around dancing at different tables. It was very crowded and the service was slow.
Service was so fast and friendly even though the place was packed. Food was supremely savory and portions are big. Cocktails are delicious too. Decorations for Christmas are incredible. Definitely will come here again!
What a FUN spot! Totally put us in the Christmas spirit!! Atmosphere was AWESOME!!! Food delicious, honestly forgot to take pics till we were done. Got the hummus and the meatballs and they were amazing! The guy who walks around abd offers to take photos was great! Super nice and we got a great memory of our friends Birthday celebration ???? ???? ???? We will definitely be back!
We went here for the Christmas Vibes and they did not disappoint!! Word to the (un)wise, this is in a shopping mall so if you're going at Christmas time, expect the insanity. The food was awesome, festive drinks and our waiter (from Greece) was also doing a great job considering the place was 100% packed on a Friday late lunch. It is not a cheap place prices wise so just be prepared for that. The drinks in particular were really steep (like $20 a martini) but the food was fair for the quality imo. The steak was cooked right and had a delicious and unique (to me) marinade and the wings came with some sort of hummus or something on them that was ????????. They also do a ton of themed nights that seem like they would be a fun time and we will likely try in the future but this place is just over an hour from us so it is a decent trip, otherwise, we would ???? be there more.
Junior, the manager, was incredibly rude and disrespectful during our visit for a "specialty" brunch. Despite purchasing tickets in advance, he refused to seat our family together. When my deaf mother tried to explain that we had multiple tickets under my name, he repeatedly dismissed her, insisting there were no such tickets and even suggesting she should leave. When I approached him to clarify the situation, I noticed the restaurant was mostly empty. Yet, they were keeping customers lined up outside and the manager insisted our elderly mother would need to sit elsewhere by herself if we wanted to stay. When we expressed discomfort with this arrangement, he blatantly disregarded me and, instead, turned to my husband, saying, "Oh good, I'm only going to talk to him now; at least a man will understand." I was shocked by such overt ableism and sexism. Junior then pointed me, my husband, and our baby to a table and led my mother and sister—who was helping us sort things out but already had her own table—to a high-top table in the back near the bathroom. He said my mother could sit there alone. My mother quietly complied, but thankfully, the owner walked over to say hello and intervened. After my sister explained the situation, the owner promptly resolved the issue by adding a chair to our table, making room for everyone. From that point on, things improved.
Unfortunately, the brunch buffet itself was disappointing—far from worth the $40 per person (despite being advertised as $30). The food quality was subpar, but that’s beside the point. On a positive note, the owners were incredibly kind and accommodating once they became aware of the issue. Sandy, one of the servers, was also wonderful, and the restaurant's decor was beautiful. I believe the owners have great potential and a solid vision, especially with their Greek food flair. However, they urgently need to address their management issues. Dropping the manager and refining the execution of large-scale events like this would make a world of difference.
My partner and I went to ya mas recently for a date night because we saw the viral tik toks about their decorations. The decorations were super cool but I got the impression that their marketing had been working a little too well and this nice family business was not equipped for the volume of customers they were getting. We were sitting at our table for 20-30 minutes before anyone checked on us or brought water. Our server was very nice but seemed spread incredibly thin, because we put in drinks, only for her to return 15-20 minutes later to inform us they didn’t have the ingredients to make them. The drink menu full of seasonal cocktails was disappointing because they seemed to be out of so many ingredients and couldn’t actually make most of them. What we did order was watered down and underwhelming, especially considering they were around $25.
Then, they were out of the first SEVEN menu items we tried to order. We settled for a cheese board and dip to start. For dinner, I ordered Mousakka after confirming with the server they still had it. However, 30 minutes later she came over to tell me they had actually ran out of it. Very frustrated at this point, I ordered the chicken parm instead, but it came out cold and lacking flavor.
Meanwhile, there was a dancer circling the restaurant for first 35 minutes while music was blasting, a videographer filming her, AND a photographer offering FREE photos to people but when he shows you the hard copy they’re actually $20?? It seemed more like a entertainment spot than a restaurant at that point.
And to top it all off, nothing was taken off our bill after all of this disappointment. Will not be returning.
