Upon seeing the size of our wings at the price listed, I was excited they werent skimpy like other places. However, I could not enjoy them and I'm paying for it still.
I ordered the mild honey garlic flavor, and though my plate was covered in what appeared to be sauce, my wings had no flavor. No heat, sweet, or garlic at all. I wanted to ask for extra sauce of some flavor, but our waitress was nowhere in sight until I had given up and they were cold. After only 3 wings, I decided I'd take them home to use my own wing sauce. She finally noticed I wasn't eating, and offered us boxes to go. After boxing up my wings, I looked at the sauce to see it was really just a puddle of grease, oil slick shimmering, and grease already cooling to a solid.
It's been 4 hours since eating 3 wings I've since thrown out. My stomach hasn't stopped gurgling and I've been fighting nausea since I left.
It's hard to find good wings anymore, and I was really let down today.
First the waitress never checked on me, she was too busy talking to her regular drunk customers at the bar. The poppers were burnt in old oil. Then I had to go find a waitress (I’m the only table here at noon) for silverware which was plastic! Finally get my wings, again burnt in old oil. Plus the dusting of Cajun seasoning was so thick it puffed up in my face like dust. Completely inedible. She had them remade but at this point I just want to leave. Terrible. The cook slapped down the second round which I had to add all the ingredients together at the table and left with a huge puff of disgust.
Being me to the area I been making my rounds looking for not hurt a nice place but the best wings .. and I gotta say the wings here are absolutely amazing. They are possibly the best wings I've ever had. I've been there 3 times now and the staff has always been super nice and attentive even when they're busy. This is my new go to.
We were 1st customers of the day so the atmosphere was pretty vacant but with a lot of potential. We were really hungry so no food picks. The wings were great, and good sized wings not child-sized like some of the competition! Spicy garlic was excellent!
Just made a quick stop in for the 10 for $10 wings. Place was a bit empty, But it was 3pm on Thursday.
This place has over 20 TV's playing everything from food Network to every available sport.
Overall it's what you expect. The waitresses were respectful and kind. Glad I stopped in.
I grabbed a draft beer and 10 garlic ranch medium wings. Very pleased.
5 stars just for Amy! By far the best waitress we have ever had. Seriously the most considerate, kind, and friendly lady. She makes sure that you have everything you need at all times, makes wonderful conversation, and gives great advice! I would totally come back just for her service. Keep doing you Amy!
I gave the food to one star because I never even got any. I have no idea if it was any good or not. Walked in for dinner to a pretty empty restaurant. This should have been my first clue. Sat down and was greeted and asked for water which did happen. Waitress said she would give us time to look at the menu and she would be back. After over 10 minutes of waiting and no waitress returning, decided to walk out. Won't be returning there again
The location we frequent (Kernan) is rarely crowded, and we are greeted by name almost every time we come in. When my wife and i started going there, we usually ordered the same drinks, and the food is excellent, especially (of course) the wings.
What really caught my attention (a few years back) was that, on a busy night, we had ordered our drinks and a different server brought them: "I saw those two drinks and i knew it had to be you guys, so i looked around until i found you." Sooo sweet!! That is when i knew we were in a special place. To a person, the servers are attentive and professional.
They just started a music trivia night on Wednesdays, and that is especially fun. Come check it out, and see why we love this place!
