They took me in the same day I called, which I was in pain (on a Sunday). I expected the wait to be long, but it was extremely fast. The staff was really nice and professional. The office is clean and the set up is welcoming. Dr. Tan was thorough in his explanation and made sure to take care of the issue and prescribed meds to get me better asap. Amazing customer service! Totally recommend!
I made two appointments for the same day at separate times 12 &12:30 because my daughter was coming from Campus, I was doing home visits. Receptionists scheduled daughter & I at the same time. So my daughter arrived at 12:16 pm, they could not see her because she arrived more than 15 minutes after her so called appointment (which was supposed to be at 12:30pm). After I explained to them that we were not supposed to be at the same time, they would not understand and kept saying “sorry! Someone must’ve made the mistake of putting you both at the same time”. How was that our fault! I said “You all are not the only Dentist in the RGV!

Bad customer service. Do not recommend coming to this dentist. The manager and dental assistants and office staff are rude and disrespectful. Will not be doing business with them ever again. This office lost a patient that was of more than 5 years. So sad to see that the office staff are this way to tenured patients.
This dental office used to be good. However we have noticed in the past year or two that these people really don’t care about the patient. Something really bad has happened with this place. The staff communicate things in such a negative way to the dentist who is all too willing to listen then literally retaliates against the patient. So you’re at their mercy. We’ve decided to find another dentist because this is not at all how we should be treated. So incredibly unprofessional. Dr Tan needs to re-examine the purpose of his career or retire. His office manager and staff should never work in a customer service type job! But what goes around comes around.
Great experience as always, Korina was kind, patient and did an awesome job. Dr. Tan is well mannered and always attends to his patients, good job Dr. Tan and visit was Painless ....
Unfortunately, I accidentally deleted my own review after trying to provide an update. After an unpleasant experience in March 2024, where I addressed the staff about my medical records being incorrect, I was abruptly dismissed as a patient even though they were clearly in the wrong.
5/22/2024 update: I decided that I would consult with the doctor about the situation and told Brittany, the receptionist, to NOT have Vanessa talk to the doctor. Apparently, if you want to talk to Dr. Tan about an incident, it must be filtered through her because the website does not flag when you want an appointment to be done.
Vanessa, instead, went and told Dr. Tan about EVERYTHING and showed him the recorded phone call that we had where I called the staff stupid and incompetent. Then, she claims that because of comments I made that Dr. Tan is not interested in taking me as a patient. She then continues to lie and say that I made comments about the doctor but can't be bothered to say about who. She twists my words around and then claims that she has me recorded. Who does she think she is? Vanessa needs to be fired.
I love this place. I have gone with pain on two occasions because of my wisdom teeth and both occasions got wisdom teeth taken out in the moment. 0 pain and very fast.
I’ve been going to this dentist this past year and it was ok. Went because of the hours being convenient. There was one incident before this one where I told him it wasn’t a sinus infection when he said it was and turns out it wasn’t. It was the tooth I had mentioned to him bothered me. This past Saturday I went cause my molar hurt and he said it needed a retreatment of the root canal. I told him after the crown was placed I could still feel pain and he said normal take antibiotics and anti inflammatory meds. I did and I was still in pain in the weekend and Monday morning I felt so bad I went for a 2nd opinion. Turns out he missed a canal in the root canal process because they didn’t the right type of X-rays. So I had an abscess and had to have an apicoectomy and now I feel so much better. Time for a new dentist.
