I’m extremely disgusted by this place. I went for the first time and thought the place looked cleaner than others. The woman convinced me to do Dip instead of gel. I trusted her when she said it’s better for my nails and all the other bs they say. A couple weeks later, my nail just pops off and look what I am left with. Nail fungus. Lo and behold, I realize it’s from the dip. When doing dip, the user is supposed to put some in another dish and apply it on me from there. This woman kept putting my fingers into the original container. That is disgusting. How many peoples fingers were submerged in that?
I work in healthcare. I know what it means and how to sterilize instruments. Don’t be fooled by any nail salon - none of them sterilize anything. Where is the autoclave? Do you ever notice the blue bags sterile they use? They are supposed to change color when sterilized. All they do is put the instruments in a bag (WITHOUT SEALING IT) and keep using it from patient to patient. So vile. I would rather pay extra for sanitary treatment than be another number.
Do better. Clean your instruments. Follow OSHA protocols or you might have them knocking on your door one day.
Been coming here every 3 weeks for the past 3 years for a gel fill! Never disappoints. Great service, great people, great value, great nails.
Tried here for the first time. Not at all impressed. Rude employees, I can still see my old polish under the clear coat. They did not get it all off. There is cotton stuck in my gel. I did not see who I set the appointment with. I was looking for a new nail salon, this won’t be it.
I've been going to Wendy for over 15+ years and I can truly say she is the best! Kind, caring and thoughtful when it comes to her customers. She's great with any design that you want, she hooks me up all the time with any photo I show her, doing them free hand, such an artist
????. The shop has all services, nails, feet (I recommend Henry), eyebrows, waxing, etc. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
Rich was absolutely amazing! He did my acrylics and the shape was perfect. He was kind and did very talented work. The salon is also very clean & enjoyable. Will deff be back & very happy with my services!
I have been advised manicurist for over 35 years, so you might imagine how nervous I was about getting my nails done by someone else. Miley was recommended to me by a person who's artistic abilities I admire and respect, she's also an amazing human. I soon relaxed and enjoyed my manicure/pedicure immensely! Miley's work is beautiful and efficient! I will certainly be back and bringing my friends!
I have been coming to xo nails for a few months now, but today was my last time ever going. I got there 5-10 min before my appointment time and about 2 minutes after I get there I was asked to come back with the manicurist. I said “I didn’t pick a color yet” she grabbed one of the books and asked me to sit. I was so confused because there were way more color options than that one book and a whole display on the front counter of fall colors I wanted to look at. Again I questioned the manicurist and asked if I was not allowed to pick my own color or something. She let me go back to the front but rushed me in picking a color, so I picked a color I didn’t actually like. As she was prepping my nails I said I actually really don’t like this color. Instead of letting me just look myself she grabbed another book and opened it in front of my face for me. I didn’t like any of those colors, so she did the same with another book. I finally just picked a color I was okay with, but the whole situation got me frustrated. The place wasn’t busy and I was early. I couldn’t understand why I couldn’t just browse and pick my own color. Not only that, the manicurist told me I needed my eyebrows done and that my cuticles were dry. Even if both are true, there is no need to comment on it. I’m a tired nurse who is constantly washing her hands. Sorry my eyebrow and cuticle status is not a priority for me. Needless to say, next time I decide to treat myself to getting my nails done, I will go somewhere else that actually respects me and my autonomy.
Jenny is such an incredible artist, I had a poor experience at another local salon and she was able to squeeze me in and not only fix their mistake, but absolutely knock out of the park. I’ve been coming here for a year and have had nothing but a 11/10 experience every time. The prices are fair and I feel so welcome, comfortable, and most importantly never rushed like so many other places in the area. If you’re looking for a good place with great work, look no further!
