Best WLM Reviews
Ordering is made very easy as you just select what you want on one of the two screens. Although I’ve asked the staff what’s their favorite which is either the N2 or NS2 (soup).
I’ve decided for the N2 and less spicy. Noodles were really good in texture. The beef was sometimes a bit too chewy but overall rich in flavor. For a “less spicy” version still good spicy haha. The Atmosphere is not really special but I came for the food anyway. Fair price and good portion
Absolutely phenomenal dining experience at Xi'an Famous Foods! The food is incredibly authentic and bursting with flavors. We were particularly impressed by the spicy tofu dish; it adds a delightful kick to the tofu, which is hot yet pleasantly flavorful, not just spicy for the sake of heat. The aftertaste is superb and lingers wonderfully. Additionally, the noodles are a rare gem – handmade, shredded, and unbelievably tasty. Such craftsmanship in noodle making is hard to find and greatly appreciated.
My husband and I were walking around Chinatown and craving hand-pulled noodles, so we decided to stop by Xi'an Famous Foods. I loved how easy it was to order using the kiosk and find a seat to enjoy the meal. We ordered the local favorite, A1 'Liang Pi' Cold Skin Noodles, and the thick, chewy hand-pulled noodles were amazing! The dish was spicier than I expected but still packed with flavor. The combination of texture and spice made it a unique experience. Quick service and delicious food—definitely worth a visit!
Food didn’t match the overhyped reviews. Not enough protein with the noodles and tastes pretty much like any other average restaurant.
Edited to add: there’s nothing wrong with the flavour, noodles were well done too. However, when I order pork I expect to see and taste the meat part and not so much fat and skin. I got the spicy level and it was not spicy at all, it had just some heat to it. These are the details why I made a 3 star assessment and review for this place.
Incredible lunch! The sauce is tangy, oily, and spicy and it soaks up the noodle really well. I don’t recommend the dumplings, the skin was too thick and not very chewy. Great place for those who love strong flavors!
Pork noodles are 3,5/5, little vegatables, little meat - maybe 30-40g, so it's primarily just noodles but overall flavourful. 12$.
Burger is 1/5. It's just dry meat and dry bun. No souce, no vegatables, nothing. For a great price of 5$ wasted potential.
The place looks pretty clean and nice.
Good atmosphere. We came around 4.30 pm so was no crowded at all. The portions are according to the price. I had the pork dumplings least spicy and the haw berry tea. All very delicious, would definitely come back.
This is the best food I have ver had in my life and I am devastated that it’s only in NYC. I will be craving and thinking about these noodles for the rest of my life and I am not exaggerating. Decent price - great quality and great sized portions as well! Service was very fast despite being busy and restaurant seemed clean enough though it could have used a wipe down.
