Best WLM Reviews

I just paid $30 for a salad that I could make at home for $5 (lettuce, slivered almonds, cherry tomatoes, a sprinkle of blue cheese, comically large slices of apple and salmon). The last few times we’ve eaten here we’ve been taken aback by the price increases while less than impressed by the presentation. Rib and Chop in Laramie has somehow accomplished a reduction in quality for a heavily increased price. We won’t be returning here, unfortunately.
My husband had the rib platter with mac and cheese and squash casserole. The ribs were really good and fell off the bone. The mac and cheese was good, but a little too cheesy for us. Unfortunately, the squash casserole was terrible. It was sweet and tasted nothing like squash. My bbq shrimp was great as were the mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. We had enough food left over to take home for another meal. The service was very slow, but our server came to us often to update us on when we would get our food. Overall, it was a nice dining experience.
"Certified Angus Beef®" is a brand, a marketing term, not a grade of beef, for those that don't know. They are serving USDA Select beef for like double USDA Prime prices. This place used to be good, but the quality of the food dropped noticeably over the years. The service is fine, but that's the easy part. The steak quality, in particular, is now lower than what you can make at home for less than half the price. They're trying to survive on having a good location, but they're going to fail if the food quality doesn't improve.
This place is fantastic! We had excellent service - thank you Amber! Everything we ordered was delicious! The wedge salad was so fresh and amazing toppings. The fried green tomatoes were unique and very good. We also loved the shrimp and scallop pasta, the ribs and all the sides were yummy. We will definitely be back!
Food tastes great but very small portions for the crazy price. Our waitress was not very attentive and it took several people asking in our party before we got anything we requested. It's a good place for food if you're willing to pay for it. Not pictured but their salads are exceptional. Just seems too expensive for the portion size. Other than service and pricing it's a good place to eat at.
I wanted to be impressed with this place, the atmosphere, the smell and it is always packed. Made reservations and was seated promptly, greeted timely and all was good. I ordered pork ribs and potatoes, my ribs arrived looking dry and they were. I received my BBQ sauce and slathered them up really wanting them to be tasty. Every rib was dried out and all I tasted was the sauce, bummer. I will say the mashed potatoes were good but it's not called the Mashed potato house. That was my experience, I hope you're is better.
Supervisor Faith was freaking amazing! She took care of us to the fullest extent. She was so sweet. Our server Kaelyn was also provided excellent service filling emptying glasses ect. And lastly manager Brett cooked the best steaks I’ve ever eaten! Amazing, amazing, amazing!!!
Have to admit, I almost did not go to this place based on the reviews. Given I was staying across the street, I went anyway since it was within walking distance. Fortunately, I had a five-star experience. Actually went back twice for dinner during my stay. The service was good, my meals were great, and I loved the atmosphere. It is pricey, but if you can go during their happy hours, it is very reasonable.
