Best WLM Reviews
Edit to add: I’d like to follow up, but you didn’t provide any contact information. Is there a specific number or email I should use? I’ve tried calling the number I’ve used before and left messages without a response until posting this review. I’m happy to reach out to get this resolved, but I’d appreciate knowing the best way to connect with someone who can assist me. Thank you.

We booked a room at this location while evacuating Tampa during Hurricane Milton. Concerned that we wouldn’t make it to Orlando before the storm hit, we decided to find another hotel closer to our location. When we called Wyndham, the representative we spoke to was kind and understanding, assuring us that she would cancel the reservation without charging us.
However, the next day, we noticed a charge on our account. When I called back, I was told it was just a hold and that it would fall off. Unfortunately, the charge never did. I’ve since called multiple times and was told each time that the manager needed to process the refund. Despite leaving several messages, I have yet to receive a call back, and we still haven’t received the promised refund.
If the hotel couldn’t or wouldn’t provide a refund, I would have preferred they were honest from the beginning rather than making promises they didn’t keep. The lack of communication, follow-through, and basic customer service has been incredibly frustrating. I cannot recommend this location and advise others to proceed with caution if booking here.
The rooms weren't clean because there was rust in the shower handles & yellow stains on the shower. There's absolutely no microwaves in the room. Only 1 microwave is available by the entrance for guests, so there might be a long line. The receptionist didn't give vouchers for the breakfast because as I was informed they can't tell at all on a reservation if it includes free breakfast. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything. Definitely don't recommend spending time here but rather somewhere else. I will not be returning.
Stayed at this hotel during Hurricane Milton (since I live in Tampa) and I truly cannot find one nice thing to say outside of there is a good amount food options and activities near. I should have paid closer attention (and believed) the reviews. There was no mention of a "Resort Fee" when I was booking, but of course the email confirmation stated one. When I arrived, I asked about the resort fee and was told "Oh yea, we need to fix that". I'm sorry, what?! The carpet was so gross, I wore socks the entire time because my feet felt grimy. I could hear EVERYTHING. People in the hall, guests on either side of the room. Seemed like the walls were made of paper. Dirty pool (and hot tub), and trash laying around. Under no circumstances would I ever stay here again. Highly suggest a different location because even if you find a room at a very low rate, just wait for that resort fee...
The hotel is beautiful. Food is delicious. Fantastic A++++ on the breakfast buffet. Staff is professional & friendly. Shoutout to David. I would not be shocked if he was promoted to Management. I will not go to any other hotel without first looking to see if there is a Wyndham Hotel. Hands Down!!!
Would not recommend. Room was so dirty!! once you moved the pillows on the bed, you could see visible dust and stains (from food) that had not been cleaned below. The floor also had a food stain which looked like it had been sitting for weeks. Worst part was the shower which still had rust and hair upon arrival!! Had to run to the cvs down the street to get flip flops in order to stand in the shower. Beds felt like springs and room was musty. Chargers did not work and had to find 2 outlets out of the 8 in the room that actually worked. Hotel itself is very run down for what we paid. Location was fine for what we needed. We needed more towels and phone was broken in the room when we got there so could not contact anyone. Room was never cleaned in the 2 days we stayed. Very disappointed!!! Spend the extra $$ to find a cleaner and comfier room.
Rooms are very dirty, carpet in rooms looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in a while, A/C smelt musty, fridge smelt awful and was missing a leg causing the whole fridge to fall fwd every time you opened it, and to top it all off we had an ant/mite (unsure the species of bug) infestation in our room. Management made aware of all the above and showed little to no care/concern and would not refund our stay. Very disappointed and will not be staying there again.
Nice hotel and love Hazel from the bar. There is also a virtual bar. I didn't like that I had to keep asking for washcloths and towels over and over again before I finally received it. My key card was not working but they quickly resolved it by having maintenance fix the door.
This hotel doesn’t care enough about the ADA laws. BOTH handicap parking spaces at the front entrance were reserved for their forklift and dirt which is illegal. The employees at the front desk gave an attitude two times when asked if they could solve the issue or at least try to have the forklift removed to which they replied that wasn’t their problem. The manager also didn’t care about it and said for me to park somewhere else.
I’m in a wheelchair and need the extra space those spots have for me to be able to get the ramp down and up so I can get in/out of the vehicle. This was unacceptable, get better employees and read about the ADA laws.
