Hotel Review
My stay at this hotel had its ups and downs. On the positive side, the check-in process was incredibly smooth and hassle-free, which I greatly appreciated after a long day of travel. The onsite store was a convenient perk, making it easy to grab essentials or a quick snack. The hotel’s location was another highlight — it’s super close to Disney Springs, which made accessing dining, shopping, and entertainment very easy.
As for the room itself, it was fine — clean and functional, but nothing particularly special. The bed, unfortunately, wasn’t the most comfortable, which made it a bit hard to get a good night’s sleep.
Overall, this hotel is a solid choice for its convenience and amenities, especially if you’re looking to stay near Disney Springs. However, if a plush, comfortable bed is a priority for you, you might want to explore other options.
Very good experience for one day. They have a games room in lobby, it is very well located from the parks (they also take you to the parks by bus if you don't have a car). The room was simple but very comfortable, especially the beds and pillows.
If you have a vehicle, parking has an additional cost of $25 which is charged along with other fees upon arrival. You should take that into account for your budget.
The staff is very friendly.
I give it an 8/10 overall.
I would stay again.
As a Disney-loving family who visits Disney World 2-3 times a year, we usually stay on property. But whenever we don’t, Wyndham Lake Buena Vista is our go-to! This hotel is conveniently located within Disney World and is just a short walk to Disney Springs, making it perfect for easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment. The hotel is always clean and inviting, and the staff is incredibly friendly, making it feel like home every time. While it’s not a Disney-themed hotel, it still has a family-friendly vibe with Disney touches here and there, which our kids love. Plus, the brand-new arcade is a big hit! If you’re looking for a comfortable, family-oriented place close to Disney, this is a great option!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Marly and Natalia at Eclipse Bar! From the moment I arrived, their warmth and genuine kindness set the tone for an unforgettable experience.||Marly has an incredible knack for making everyone feel like the most important person in the room. Her recommendations were spot on, and she ensured my drinks were perfectly crafted every time. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and her passion shines through in every interaction.||Natalia, on the other hand, is a powerhouse of energy and positivity. She has a natural ability to make people feel at ease, and her vibrant personality is contagious.||Together, Marly and Natalia create an atmosphere that feels welcoming, fun, and truly special. It’s rare to find such a dynamic duo who work so seamlessly to elevate the experience for every guest. I can’t wait to return to Eclipse Bar just to see them again!||Thank you, Marly and Natalia, for going above and beyond—you’ve set the bar (pun intended) impossibly high!
While bus service is frequent and the food and beverage availability/service is great, the rooms are not. I’ve stayed in worse and the rooms are fine as is, but if you’re planning on showering I would not recommended. Not only is it difficult to turn on, but there is zero water pressure (no matter which setting you put it on) and zero hot water. I also did not expect to walk an actual mile to my hotel room to the back of the hotel OUTSIDE. It seems that they have spent all of their money/budget on their lobby and nothing at all on their rooms. View of a parking lot
This hotel seems like one huge afterthought. The layout is ridiculous. You have to use one elevator to get to the lobby on the third floor, a separate one to get to your room! Multiple were out of order making it very difficult to navigate how to even get to the room! Once inside, you could tell it was an old hotel with paint and primer. Rooms have odor, the door had a large gaping gap all the way around it letting cold air and light through. The walls are paper thin so be prepared to listen to your neighbors tiptoe. Not everything with a mouse and ears stamp is great. Very disappointed.
This was a great place to stay at! Staff was extremely friendly, offered clean towels on the daily. The hotel has a pool on site as well as dine in restaurants. The hotel did offer shuttles to Disney from all hours of the day basically and even extending hours on the late days the park closes which was great! Hotel is also about a 10 min walk from Disney springs! So if you need to do any shopping or any brunch/dinner that was always in walking distance since you have an endless selection there.
Good and bad - my review. Good: 1. Location of my room - same floor as lobby, overlooking the parking lot on left side of building as you're facing the building. Last room of the row. Very quiet, no loud fan noise that the rooms facing the courtyard deal with. 2. Lobby is nice, with coffee bar, snacks, drinks, comfy seating on couches or table & chairs, nice bar. 3. Breakfast buffet. 4. Free park transportation. 5. Quick walk on sky bridge to Disney Springs. 6. Quick maintenance service when heater wouldn't turn on. 7. Luggage storage is great to have. 8. Room was updated, clean, good fridge, amazing water pressure in shower, plenty of towels. Lots of drawers, room safe, lots of hangers. Bad: 1. AC and heater unit in room was extremely loud. 2. Air scent in lobby is nice but way, way, way too strong. 3. Never could get connected to Wi-Fi, tried multiple devices, and front desk couldn't figure it out. 4. Pillows. Yikes. Clean and big but not comfortable at all. 5. Mattress very firm. Not comfortable. 6. Weird closet hanging bar. 7. Bathroom lighting is terrible, both in sink area and shower area. Why so dim? Will probably stay again because the good outweighed the bad. Didn't try the pool but it looks nice. Felt safe at night to and from Disney Springs and parks. Would now rather stay here than at resorts because of Disney Springs.
