We visited in mid-November 2024 and had a great time at this hotel. While there were several areas businesses affected by the hurricane and not accessible or open, our three-day stay was still amazing. The biggest issue is the $40 resort fee. Here’s the catch: if you don’t use the beach chairs, you’re not charged the fee. For example, if you go to the beach and sit down, there are people in blue shirts who ask if you’re staying at the Wyndham. If you are, they say “chairs are complimentary with your stay” but they’ll ask you to fill out a tablet and leave a tip. Take the tip off! A cheaper alternative would be to just buy your own chairs rather than paying $40 each day for two.||||Our room was in a great location and was very clean. They also provided robes, which I really appreciated. The pool was nice, too. The only other issue is I felt like they were being sneaky with the resort fee. I talked to someone that said it was $36 then online it says $35 per day then charged $39 with some change. Also, they did refuse to give us the access code for the WiFi. Overall, we had a good time though.

Our Thanksgiving at the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach was an absolute delight! The buffet was superb, offering an amazing selection that truly catered to all tastes. The Gulf Coast shrimp and sushi were standout highlights—fresh, flavourful, and well presented. Alongside these coastal delicacies, the festive fare was equally impressive, with perfectly roasted turkey, a wide array of traditional sides, and indulgent desserts that completed the holiday experience.
The atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming, with attentive staff ensuring a seamless dining experience. Whether you’re a fan of local seafood, traditional Thanksgiving dishes, or a bit of both, this buffet delivered in every way. Highly recommended for anyone looking to celebrate the holiday in style with a culinary feast!
I recently stayed here located right on the beachfront, and it was an unforgettable experience! The location is absolutely perfect, offering stunning ocean views and just a short walk to the shore.
The rooms were clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated, with large windows that allowed me to enjoy the sea breeze. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed.
One of the highlights was the on-site restaurant, which served delicious meals with a view of the waves. The breakfast spread was especially impressive, with plenty of fresh options to choose from.
The hotel also had excellent amenities, including a beautiful pool area and easy access to beach activities. only negative i would say is water from faucets is so slow that it takes too much time to fulfil any washes.
Overall, it provided the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful beachfront getaway!
We came for a long weekend to spend with our grandchildren and catch an NFL game. Our stay was peaceful and pleasant. What made this trip fantastic was the staff. They remembered your name and always smiled and never left you without making sure you were served,
So much to say. Starting with the first services agent, Madeeha, who I spoke with prior to our trip. She put me at ease about our reservation which was a little unclear before our trip. Madeeha took the time to listen and emphasize and confirmed everything.||A fun perk about the Wyndham Grabd is that your room comes with 2 beach chairs and an umbrella each day as part of the resort fee. I haven’t found another beach property that does that. Also, making requests for housekeeping or other questions was so way too do via text message. The hotel gives you the option to text with them and the response time is very quick.||Extra has a bunk bed room that has a pool/beach view. It was perfect! Good space and many drawers and closet space to unpack and organize. ||Housekeeping staff was so nice and did a great job tidying our room! ||The pool and hot tub area are well kept with pool towels easily accessible. One thing to note in November is that the sun hits pool area starting around 11am and by 2pm the whole area sees sun. We would just do the beach in the morning and head to the pool in the afternoon. ||This is one of our favorite properties to stay at when in Clearwater Beach. You cannot beat the location. We could walk everywhere and the Jolly Trolley stops nearby for longer distances. ||Thank you for the beach vacation we had hoped for!!
From the moment we walk-in the door until we leave, this place treats us like gold!! I have never been in a place where I've felt so welcome by so many people; from reception, special Christine she’s amazing.
The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast, and loved the convenient location close to major attractions."
Overall, our stay at the hotel was okay. The staff was very friendly, and the rooms were clean. However, I was disappointed with the pool, which I found unappealing and in the shade until the afternoon. Our room faced north, and every time we opened the window, there was a constant smell of food. While the hotel is fine, it lacked character and style for my taste.
