So, we like a softer bed than they offer. I always bring my own pillow but theirs were nice. Not so pleased with the bathroom. No vent fan, bad lighting and mold was set into the caulk around the shower pan (should be re-caulked). The room was nice, had a sofa, ottomans and a desk. Supplied an iron and board, a hair dryer and plenty of hangers. There's a restaurant/bar in the hotel and they had live music on Friday night. For us the location was great, gave us easy access to many items of our interest.
Stayed for one night and my experience was wonderful. Staff - friendly and very helpful. Very clean all around, beds were pretty comfortable, the pool area was very nice and a decent size. The soap, shampoo/conditioner in the shower smelled so good. The breakfast had decent options. Would definitely stay here again. The negative I would say is that the pillows were too soft for my liking but that's pretty common in most hotels.
Great restaurant, reasonable prices on awesome food, no need to leave to eat. Something for everyone. Service is prompt and presentation is awesome. Prices may seem high, but no higher than a decent restaurant. I got prime rib and it was compatible to a 5 star restaurant. Everything I ordered was. Bartender May can multitask seamlessly and efficiently.
No inebriated clients at bar, they won't tolerate that. Awesome FULL breakfast bar. Something for all, constantly maintained.
Quiet and safe. Great location and clientele. Walmart close by if you need anything. Beds and pillows, awesome. Noise is at a minimum, unless you count the door slammers, helps if you slow your room's door closing after hours. They will address any noise issues. There's those who live in apartments, and those who live in houses. You are more aware of noise if you live in a house.
Place was booked to capacity, but still 5 stars for all services. Clean room, clean sheets and towels.
After pool was closed, some decided to have a get together, included cooler of alcohol. Got louder and louder. Thanks to the convenient "text to front desk" system, issue was addressed in minutes.
This was a perfect pit stop. The restaurant in the lobby has great live music, excellent service and good food. Everything was very clean. I'm particular about bedding, but I know my rewards are well spent at Wyndham Garden with their layers of crispy white sheets and complimentary breakfast. I will be honest that this was a free hotel stay, but full price for the same would still have been a steal with these amenities. Thank you for the hospitality.
Wonderful staff and reception area. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and ultra clean. Great wifi and free breakfast. Beds are ultra comfortable. Needed toiletries are available in huge bathrooms with walk-in spacious showers. Great facility safety features.
This is not our first visit at this hotel but may have been the best! In the past I have booked our room through discount sights. Don’t do it. Call them and book. It was pleasant from front desk to the maids. Very friendly. Because I was having a hard time walking and has requested the courtyard they were able to give me a complimentary upgrade close to the area I requested to make it easier for me to get around. The bed was super comfy, it was a beautiful space. We felt at home. The hotel was packed. The complimentary buffet stayed full and hot. They communicated every step of our 4 day stay. If in York this is the place to stay!!
This is my second stay here while attending a professional conference in the area. This time around there was a mix up with my reservation and I was over charged, but the front desk staff, Kat helped me sort it out. She was calm and respectful. She never excused herself or the organization, but tool charge of the problem until it was fixed.
Overall the hotel is good. The carpets are run down in the hall ways, the rooms are rough around the edges and could use some TLC or updates to carpet and lights, but I still like my stay.
Hotel was very clean and kept well. Walking into the lobby was very welcoming. Took just a few minutes to get checked in. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, much better than what was offered at the last place we stayed. They had scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurt, toast, bagels, home fries and fresh muffins. Rooms were clean and spacious. The pool area was beautiful scenery with the garden setting. We really enjoyed the restaurant inside the hotel called, Fenderz Grill & Pub. Meals were delicious and bartender was great, her name was May. Will Def. Return.
