Recommended! The beds are big and so
Comfortable. We showed up for breakfast once and unfortunately the egg wasn’t cooked properly that day, but otherwise everything was great. Rooms are big and very clean. Housekeeping staff was very friendly and would ask what we needed in the mornings. We really appreciated the staffs kindness in having fresh popcorn when checking in, some of the best popcorn we’ve had. Would definitely recommend to friends/family.
Nice hotel. Has a great breakfast buffet that changes daily. Best thing, they provide meat unlike some hotels. Beds are big and very comfortable. No carpet in the rooms and some rooms are located in different buildings. Like an apartment complex. All rooms are not in the same building as the front desk. Staff is friendly and hotel was pretty quiet for a weekday trip. Will stay again!
Staff was amazing, anything we needed they got for us in a timely manner. Breakfast was great different selections each day. Rooms were clean and nice. Nothing fancy but I see it I only sleep there so being clean is the big thing for me. Thanks for a great stay!!!
Hotel was decent. You can hear the people on the floor above walking and moving around.
Non smoking hotel but did smell weed during our stay that was seeping into our room. Which caused my husband to get a headache. The door to the room was not blocked with a board at the top of it so you can see outside from the top of the door. Which means people can hear what’s going in your room. Basically the door didn’t fit the space.
Elevator definitely needs upgrading, it is way too small. Almost like a closet. For breakfast there were pretty good options. Beds were comfortable.
Great hotel outside of DC. The price is reasonable and the overall feel of the hotel is good. The room was clean. The breakfast was good. One of the main keys is that the hotel is very close to a subway station so it's very easy to go downtown Washington DC. There are things to do around the hotel and there's store next to it if you need something ( Walmart, liquor store, pharmacy) over all i paid around 500$ CAD for 3 days and 2 nights for 2 adults and i really have nothing bad to say. Its not the RITZ so just keep that in mind
The staff here is fantastic. Everyone is very accommodating. The breakfast was fantastic. Great places to eat. My only opinion is that when this hotel is finished with his full renovations, I think it’s gonna be a great place for people to stay going forward. My room was modern and clean. the rest of the facilities just need to catch up to that change, I will revisit once everything is done
Good place to hang out with some Army buddies. The 202 restaurant at the bottom of the hill was really good. Rooms a little dated but great for sleeping, water pressure not great and hot water intermittent. Breakfast was nice and coffee was on point. Overall pretty good stay. Also close to public transportation, bus to the metro and to the mall in an hour. Traffic in DC sucks, take the metro and enjoy the sites stress free.
Myself and my daughter recently spent the weekend in room 133. To be fair I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious and clean our room was. My only complaint is with the housekeeping staff. I remained in the room for entire day, housekeeping banged on my several times after having been told their services were not needed. What really got me irked was I locked the latch lock on my door. The last time housekeeping come to my door they were thrusting things through the door to unlatch the lock once again disturbing me. I again walked to the door and this time yelled out loud as I could without screaming that housekeeping services were not needed. I called the front desk to report the incident as I thought it to be extremely strange. I spoke with a manger named Tammy who asked if I wanted to be moved to another room???? I simply told her I wanted housekeeping to go away and to stop disturbing me. I checked out on Monday September 16 having been rushed I accidentally left 2 expensive bracelets sitting on corner of tub. I realized this almost immediately upon leaving. I called the front desk sick about leaving my bracelets behind. I was somehow disconnected several times while placed on hold to speak with a manager. I was eventually told a manager was not on duty and when the manger came in Tuesday morning I would receive a return call so after having filed a police report I headed home to PA. Tuesday morning I never received a call so I called early afternoon. I was told again no manger on duty but the General Manager would return my call Wednesday Sept. 19 again never received that call. I called early afternoon and was told the General Manager didn’t come in due to an emergency and I would receive a return call by Friday morning Sept. 21. We shall see if that call ever happens. I know the hotel manger/housekeeping manager knows who cleaned our room therefore they know who has my bracelets however so far they refuse to do the right thing and recover my bracelets. Monetary value I’m guessing around 600 however they were gifted by a partner who is no longer with us so sentimental value is priceless. I’m so sick ???? about it. Yes my fault for leaving them behind but who would think they wouldn’t be turned in by housekeeping for me to recover. The fact that housekeeping tried so hard to enter my room the day before speaks volumes. I don’t recommend booking accommodations at this particular Windham location especially if you have valuables..
