Pet friendly. Clean rooms. Staff we encountered on phone & in person were very friendly. Quiet stay. I would suggest to ask for more towels at check in if there's more then 2 of you. I liked they have the pump Dove products in the shower & on the sink.
Me and my bf stayed here for a total of 6 nights. I personally was very unsatisfied with my stay. Firstly, one of the back doors was broken and attached to it was a paper saying “just come on in” I personally witnessed people from the inn across the street come right in in and explore the whole place. that is a serious safety hazard in my
opinion. I was also very unhappy with the cleanliness of that area. Also the pool and hot tub were broken which I was very disappointed about because I was excited to check that out. As far as the bedrooms go, they were clean but lacked toiletries and the bed/pillows were extremely uncomfortable. I suppose this is what you get when you pay $90 a night. If I would’ve known, I would have gladly pay $50 extra dollars a night and went to the hilton across the street.
Oh my! I had stayed here years ago and really enjoyed the experience. The rooms were slightly outdated then, but the amenities (outdoor pool/ courtyard area, onsite restaurant and bar, and indoor pool & hot tub), made it worth it. I stayed here recently and the rooms are old! The outdoor pool was shut down, hot tub closed, the hotel felt like a ghost town, despite us being there with a group, and they have apparently not renewed their liquor license, so the bar is closed. The rooms were musty and old. Sadly, this property has started to crumble, and we won't be back. It's a bummer because the setup was so nice before.
The only reason I ever stayed at this hotel was because it is just next to a summer theater venue, and it is convenient to be able to take a short walk to the hotel after the show. However, I will not stay there any more. The condition of the hotel and the level of service have deteriorated over the past few years. It is dirty and smelly, The restaurant facilities were once quite nice, but now they are substandard and often closed, even during meal hours. The hotel is understaffed, and the few staff available will not hesitate to tell you they cannot help with problems because they are too busy. If you call the front desk, no one will answer. If finally you do reach someone, they will brush you off with promises that will not be kept. If you call the Rewards number, they say they cant (or won't) help with local problems. If you go in person to the front desk, they will try to ignore you but finally will tell you they are too busy to help or that they have run out of supplies.
I wouldn't return. Many problems with the handicap accessible room. The toilet seat wobbled (we asked for maintenance twice), the grip bars uneven, sink a bit high, and tile missing on the wall near the floor. There was a small couch blocking the path in the room; we moved by the window & the deadbolt was broken. The desk was unattended many times, no free breakfast as advertised, and was unable to get more coffee for the room coffee pot. However, if you're looking to swim the indoor pool has a lift to get in/out of it. There's a gameroom near the pool as well.
Don't stay here. It's horrible. Your queen room includes queen size bed frames with full size mattresses that are hard as a rock. HVAC system is incredibly loud in all rooms. Key cards are not needed to get in the building, just open the door and walk on in. I think homeless shelters have better security. Courtyard is a mess... most lights out there are burned out, chairs and tables are filthy. Outdoor pool was filled but closed down at the time of our stay. This place is awful. I can't believe Wyndham would put their name on this dump.
First, when we arrived there was no one at the front desk and we waited so long that I thought we wouldn't be able to check in. I was on the phone with corporate when someone finally showed up. When I got to my room, it was filthy. There was what looked like a blade of grass on the bathroom floor, a string on the counter, and worst of all, a hair in the bed. It was disgusting. I would never stay here again and I'd warn anyone to stay far away
We had a great stay. The pool area was very nice and I love that there’s an arcade and restaurant attached. The staff member we worked with was very friendly. The room was very clean. The only downfalls were lack of toiletries and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable in the world, but other than that it was pretty nice!
