Over the past couple of years we have chose this hotel to stay at when we visit Stillwater. Every time we have stayed the pool and hot tub have been broken but we have enjoyed the hotel regardless. This most recent trip in October was a completely different story. The laundry ammentities were no longer available, the pool was broke again, and there were bugs daily in the hotel room. Krissy the manager was going to give us a discount for the inconveniences we experienced during our stay. We have contacted Krissy numerous times and still no refund as promised. Instead Krissy has been threatening and unprofessional. We will no longer be staying at this hotel nor recommending this hotel to our group or anyone requesting a good hotel experience.

The pictures are deceiving. This hotel is gross. We arrived there dropped off our stuff and my son stayed to catch a nap before driving back home 4hrs away. And one staff member just walks in. The pool needed to be resurfaced. The pool area smelled like pee, the rooms were nasty, the remote had band-Aids on it I’m not sure if there were used and someone put them there or if it was an employee’s great idea to use band-aids as tape to hold in the batteries. Not sure if I was eaten up by bed bugs or fleas. There was hair all over the bed. I wanted to request a full refund due to how nasty it was but couldn’t find another hotel. ( we were there to drop off kids for college. So hotels were booked). There was so many people that was just hanging out. From what I understand some young kids that belong to the employee took up the computers. All the staff was nice and friendly.

I was initially very pleased with the quiet atmosphere and friendly service. The man at the front desk was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and took great care of us. Other members of staff were also very helpful and friendly. Our room I thought initially was clean and orderly, and the amenities are very good quality. Some updates probably needed here and there. After a night, though, I started to kinda notice that things weren’t really as clean as I thought.
I’m pretty sure the linens are washed regularly, but the carpet in our room in particular was in desperate need of shampooing, and there were cobwebs and dust on furniture and walls. There was a lot of scum in the bathroom around the shower. The fridge needed deeper cleaning. I’m not sure if it’s an issue confined to the first floor but there were many roaches in our room on and around the fridge and microwave. At one point saw several moving about in broad daylight on the desk.
Wi-Fi code didn’t work. Only one room key worked at a time. The shower drains very slowly. I do realize that no business is perfect, but some attention to maintenance and quality is definitely needed.
I did not try the pool or the bar, and cannot comment on it. The continental breakfast was filling and decent.
Overall I think it would have been a wonderful hotel experience if it were cleaner. Staff made such a good impression that I revised my 2 stars to 3. I may consider staying here again if changes are made and other reviews reflect a cleaner environment. I’m not pleased with my stay but have faith in staff to turn it around. Very good people work here.
Very Clean,Nice staff,Good linen,and a pool with lights. Great breakfast! Room was spacious and the halls smelt amazing! The bed was comfortable.The soaps weren't great and the Blanket was itchy but the pros outweighed the cons. We will definitely be back!
Visiting grandchildren and stayed here. Room 212 had eyewatering cleaning smells that we could not tolerate. Heather was very helpful ing moving us to room 218, but this one had been heavily smoked in. Heather then moved us to a 1st floor room. Cleaning smell was strong but we were able to run ac fan and have door open to ventilate so settled there. Our room door had been repaired/adjusted but still needed a kick on bottom corner to get it open.
Overall place has been used and needs some maintenance but the staff was excellent.
Positive: Very comfortable bed. TV wasn't hard to use. Negative: Breakfast. The Waffles were not good, too thick & chewy and the outside dry. No fresh fruit, only coffee offered, no tea or hot Chocolate. We were there 3 nights and ate there the 1st morning.
Do not stay at this dump! Not as advertised. My recent stay, during a record heat wave was absolutely a downer on this trip. The pool, smelled horrible, was not clean and in need of significant repairs. In the room, the carpet needed to be cleaned. And finally, the cockroaches in the room and the area of the breakfast buffet. In my follow up with Wyndham about the atrocious condition of the place, they brushed off my complaint and the facility lied and stated they offered me another room. I will be back to Stillwater. I will never consider this place and I will likely never stay at another Wyndham property again!
