Best WLM Reviews

We have visit this hotel for many years at Thanksgiving to spend time with my in-laws.
This place has gone down hill especially after Covid with no upgrades . All the reviews are true about this place. If you want a cheap dive with a bed and shower this is the place, but this last time this place charge us 75.00 dollars for getting the wash clothes dirty. I used to use the jacuzzi during my time but that was broken and they say it is only seasonable. All the equipment in the training room was unplugged and not working. Lots of lies and drama as well. Quiet room until the locals do doughnuts outside on the road and wake you up at 2:00 am in the morning.
This place used to be nice with the restaurant open as well.
Oh well .
Title: Disappointing Stay with Unjust Charges
I recently stayed at this nice hotel but unfortunately had a very negative experience. Upon checking out, I was shocked to discover a $35 charge for a missing pillow. We arrived late due to our flight, went straight to bed, and left early for a meeting the next morning. The last thing on our minds was counting pillows!
When I spoke with Ana at the front desk, she informed me that her two supervisors reported one missing pillow. This was incredibly frustrating, as we had no idea we needed to conduct a pillow inventory upon check-in. We were exhausted from our travels and trusted that our room was in order.
It feels unfair to be charged for something we didn’t take. I believe that it is the hotel's responsibility to ensure that the inventory of the room is accurate before guests arrive. I suggest that anyone staying here should insist on having housekeeping or front desk staff count pillows and other items upon check-in to avoid this hassle. Better yet, take a picture before and after for proof. Still, they did not want to give a refund.
Overall, this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I cannot recommend this hotel based on their poor customer service and the unjustified charges. Look elsewhere for a more accommodating stay!
You really need to pass on this place. The rooms are beyond filthy; the carpet is loaded with grime and easily vacuumed trash, which means they don't even bother to lazily pass a vacuum cleaner anywhere near the rooms. The air smells like outdated air fresheners which means they have mold problems (on top of smokers in the hote) and so they are trying to cover it with air fresheners and carpet cleaner. Every wall has some sort of ooze cemented to it and the bathrooms are a literal nightmare.
Horrendous location. Horrendous building. Please waste your money elsewhere - I really wish I could.
I stayed at this establishment and was very pleased. It's on the southern tip of San Jose which is perfect for those coming up from Socal.
There is a Costco about 2 miles away. Everything you need at Costco (gas and food) is a short driving distance from the hotel. Will definitely stay here again. The hotel value exceeded my expectations!
Decided to stay at La Hacienda after a disastrous night elsewhere. Initially it was good, staff was nice and accommodating but it didn’t last. When we checked in we requested additional bedding for our 3 kids to use on the sofa bed and were told it would be bright up. After returning from being out all day a single sheet and pillow was provided on the sofa bed, no blankets or additional pillows. We went to the front desk to request them again and were told we had to wait until the next day bc they didn’t have access! This was not acceptable and after far to much arguing, my wife breaking down and crying in the lobby and calls to the staffs manager they allowed us to take bedding from an empty room. It took over and hour of this before they allowed it! We are paying to sleep at your facility but you can’t provide extra bedding?!?! Requesting extra anything, towels, bedding, etc, is like pulling teeth. Once housekeeping lady daily at 4 they wouldn’t give anything. This was all day 1! Day 2 the toilet wouldn’t flush and overflowed. Called the front desk to get someone sent up and no one showed for over 15 minutes. Again the way out we had to ask for someone to go up. Are a few hours out we come and are told it came be fixed and we have to change rooms! Day 3 the toilet again won’t flush and once again called front desk to get it fixed and are told we are lucky maintenance is still there, it was 3pm. They are able to fix toilet but told us we came flush very much toilet paper bc the toilets couldn’t handle it!! Excess toilet paper wasn’t even used!
I would not recommend this hotel. It’s no longer owned by Wyndham so I’m not sure this transition has been difficult. Rooms are kind of updated but hotel overall is dated. Pool was filthy and hot tub was broken. No breakfast is provided, something we simply overlooked. Overall very disappointed with the staff. Room was serviceable but the plumbing issues were a constantly a concern. Pay a little more and stay somewhere else.
WORST HOTEL EVER! Maggots?? Rat poop?? Do not stay at this hotel. Worst management and staff. Everything was good but then we checked in and walked into our room #113. Well there was black spots on the bed what looked like rat feces. We right away went to tell the front desk he said all he could do was change rooms because we were booking through third-party. We decided to call our third party and they said the hotel had to give us the refund. My husband called corporate and corporate said they are no longer part of Wyndham. (Mind you front desk said we are having issues with licenses to operate a restaurant) well yea it is soo dirty maybe thats why they don’t have a restaurant open. As we are calling my husband is laying on the bed and I see this worm looking thing crawl on him. We immediately packed our things, called the front desk, he sent the cleaning lady, she took pictures and videos and said she would show management but no refund. Fast forward we are still trying to get a refund and all Dana (manager) has to do is give verbal consent to give out refund and no she does not want to. JUST DON’T STAY HERE! sink was also leaking which is the least of our problems.
Service of front desk was horrible and the boss (I don’t remember exactly the name. Probably Rom) was really rude. He was dirty and he didn’t speak English very well.
This hotel is disgusting. Stains everywhere. Broken door handles. Rusted out showers and shower heads. Hallways and rooms smell disgusting. For the amount of money this hotel costs (160,00$) , you expect an average hotel with decent rooms. This was something I wouldn't recommend anyone staying at not even on a budget.
Now you can also found this new hotel "La hacienda" on Airbnb, please, come on, they are not serious, they put pics not like the thruh, the hotel isn' new, but it's very old and dirty.
Had to go to the front desk to request towels and toilet paper multiple times. Beds aren’t comfortable. The hotel is old and run down. Needs a renovation. Shower head was old and rusty. Carpets were dirty. Some stains on the sheets. Wallpaper coming off. 1 small trash can full of trash in the room. Had to bring bags to put trash in since the housekeeping didn’t come.
When I booked on app it mention free breakfast but when you get there, not even Coffee, there is no breakfast in this hotel at all.
No complaints whatsoever. It was a great stay. Next time I go to San Jose I will probably seek out this hotel.
