The hotel was perfect. The staff were both welcoming and attentive and went out of their way to ensure our stay was the best it could be. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We also loved the facilities, such as the swimming pool, fitness center and restaurant. The location is also good, close to many attractions and restaurants. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
Thankful for the Front desk but not the shuttle driver
I recently booked this hotel for my wife because they advertised a 4 AM airport shuttle, which was critical for her early flight. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be incredibly stressful and unacceptable.
Despite reserving a spot on the shuttle the day before, when she arrived at the scheduled time, the driver, Hercules, refused to let her board—even though her reservation was clearly on the list, her room number was noted, and there were two empty seats available. His refusal was completely unjustified and discriminatory.
Left with no other option, my wife was forced to arrange for a private car service, which caused unnecessary stress and placed her in a potentially unsafe situation. Fortunately, the front desk worker intervened after my wife explained what happened. They called Hercules back, made him return to pick her up, and even offered to help cover the cancellation fee for the car service.
When Hercules finally returned, the other passengers were upset and voiced their frustration about having to come back, which created an even more stressful and uncomfortable ride for my wife. All of this unnecessary chaos was caused by Hercules trying to assert authority at her expense, despite her legitimate reservation and the availability of seats.
The sole reason we chose this hotel was for the convenience of the airport shuttle, but the driver’s discriminatory and unprofessional behavior completely undermined that. While I appreciate the front desk employee’s efforts to resolve the situation, this ordeal should never have happened.
I cannot recommend this hotel unless they address the behavior of their shuttle driver and ensure no guest has to endure such treatment.
Pros: super great location to the airport for a long layover and the rooms were actually quite modern (better than expected)
Cons: it is still a bit old. Mostly though, the customer service was atrocious. The front desk person was quite curt from the time i requested a shuttle from the airport. I ended up at the wrong spot, and the front desk gave shade for me missing his call and continued to be very rude. When I got to the check in, the front desk made a face when he saw me and asked me why I was there. Super not great, and annoying as a person of color. I also tried to request a shuttle for the next day and the front desk said it was all booked for two hours so I had to call an Uber instead. With check out, I was feeling refreshed, and then checking out, the front desk agent made the same face. I just left my key and left. The customer service, or at least the person working tonight, needs to be greatly improved. It leaves such a sour taste.
Very nice hotel located close to airport. The property is well kept clean inside and out. My room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Comfy bed and pillows! My room had a walk in shower. Hotel provides a free shuttle to and from the hotel. I received a courtesy phone call reminding me of my scheduled trip to the airport. Going to the airport shuttle leaves from the front door on time and may/may not stop at Comfort Suites along the way. From the airport I gave the front desk a call and the shuttle arrived promptly. The staff is awesome, kind, accommodating and courteous.
We stopped in Orlando on our way to Jamaica and needed somewhere to stay overnight as our plane was leaving the next day. What a wonderful place! The lobby and room was gorgeous. Room was spotless. Front counter staff were pleasant and helpful. They have a bar and the ability to order food though we didn’t need either. They also have a free shuttle to take you to the airport if you needed that but we didn’t. I’d definitely stay here again!
Rooms were great comfy and clean. Don't bother doing check in online, you have to do it again when you arrive. Hotel restaurant and bar may have been short staffed. Was not able to order and eat. Only had One guy was doing everything. Restaurant was right in the lobby and had strong food odors all the time.
Great hotel! Provides shuttle from airport and to on the goport list for shuttle to cruise port, makes traveling so easy. Hotel is always clean and the bar/menu is a great perk. Not to mention the Comfort beds and great night sleep! Will always stay here when cruising out of Port Canaveral
Room was nice. Service, disappointing. Arrived and there was immediate confusion about my resetvation and there were 3 different reservation numbers. I also chose this hotel because it had on-site parking to leave my vehicle for the duration of my trip and included round-trip shuttle. I was told one price over the phone and then a different price when I arrived. Additionally, I was told to call as soon as I landed and they would send the shuttle to C270. Called 4 times (11:23 pm first call) and waited over an hour to be picked up. It was now 1 a.m. and I had a 3 hour drive back home. Very disappointed in Wyndham for the second time in a row. This may be my last time staying at one of their hotels.
