Staff member Mike was awesome! However, he seems to be the only person running the whole hotel! He was our shuttle driver and told us a lot of nice things about Oklahoma, he was the front desk person that checked us in and the maintenance person that tried to fix the toilet. On our date of departure, we were scheduled to be taken to the hotel in the shuttle. Mike advised us he had no shuttle driver and he was the only one working. He saw that were were not pleased and was able to get a maintenance person to drive us to the airport. Mike was the only good thing about this hotel. We did not feel safe in this hotel. Did not like some of the people who were hanging around the hotel. One morning at 9am, we exited our room only to find a man passed out face down in the hallway in front of our room. Our room was not completely serviced after the first day.
Only got new towels. The second day, nothing was done to our room. We had to go and ask for new towels. Even though we hung the sign on the door to make up the room. The hotel is VERY tired and in bad need of renovation and updating. We had the following issues:
-room toilet would not stop running. Even after Mike tried to fix it. I even tried to fix it but the tank hardware is so old it was just falling apart.
-Numerous light bulbs in common areas and restaurant that were clearly burnt out and not replaced.
-Serious ceiling issues which show evidence of water leaks. Especially in the pool area which looks like ceiling tiles must be falling down weekly.
-Tub in our room does not drain when taking a shower. Have to stand in inches of water.
Enjoyed the friendly service from Jessica and the shuttle driver! Great value for money and a convenient spot, yes you could say the place has seen some years but I felt the love there and felt I picked the best possible spot for my short stay. And it was nice to see the Christmas decorations going up while I was there :)
I give 0 stars. This was the absolute worst experience for me and my family. I booked a reservation 6 hours ahead. When I got there they couldn't find my reservation. I then made another one. They couldnt find that one either. I had to make a 3rd and pay 3x. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Breakfast was terrible. They said you cant take it to your room. All carbs, No meat but you have to use a card to get it. Pool is broken as always. The front desk guy has the worst customer service. I have to wait until the manager is back on Monday to even complain. He seemed to think it was funny that my paid reservations wouldn't pull up in their system after reviewing my confirmation and itinerary. After all this we went to take showers in the morning and the water does not get hot. I want a full refund for this stay.. Wyndham should be ashamed to have their name affiliated with this location.
the staff were very courteous, efficient and helpful. very warm and welcoming. I'm thankful for the complimentary breakfast and coffee. I appreciated the air conditioning! i needed a shuttle from the airport to the hotel, late at night, and they sent one, right away! :) The only thing i didn't like were: my rooms appliances weren't plugged in and functional. but staff fixed this, right away. Thank you!
The bathroom could use some repair. But it honestly wasn't terrible. I'd at least fix the bathroom door so it can close.
The staff was great! Over night desk attendant was very nice to myself and my family.
I'd recommend this Hotel ????
If you're with the FAA academy and looking for places to stay, I suggest avoiding this one. There seems to always be sketchy people in and around this hotel, and it's not in the best part of town. The fire alarm goes off on a regular basis, a lot in the middle of the night, and will continue to go off 8 more times as you're falling back to sleep. Plus the place always smells like weed. The breakfast is alright but not great and gets old quick. It could be worse but all of this gets old during an extended stay.
One staff member was very polite. Other staff were very inconsiderate and did not consider anything that was genuinely wrong. The room keys somehow got deactivated every time we left the room. VERY INCONVENIENT having to get new cards each time. Total of 4 times. On top of that, we had to switch rooms because the first room we couldn’t even get into after the guy making 6 different cards. The air conditioning? Just bring some fans, cause it doesn’t work. Oh and plan to clean your own room because even when putting the “please clean” sign out, house keeping doesn’t come. However, the shower water pressure was outstanding. I think that’s the only good thing.
Quite a messy and dirty hotel near the Oklahoma City airport. Our flight got diverted from Dallas to Oklahoma City, and American Airlines arranged for us to spend the night here.
Very disorganised at reception, took over two hours to check in. When we checked into the suite, the shower products were not refreshed, and towels weren’t changed out for the new guests which were us checking in. The shades had stains all over them when we arrived, and because we checked in so late, we couldn’t even complain or make any arrangements.
We had no option for coming here, but if you have the option, I would recommend finding a place where you may pay a little bit more, but you get a clean environment and a good experience .
Breakfast was available for 5USD per person.
Thank you
