Outstanding stay! Spring for the lakefront rooms if any are available. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the tv huge! Our room had mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave, and iron and ironing board. The property also features a pier as well as several slips. The free breakfast bar was a step above standard continental fare.
They have remodeled the rooms and they are nice. The location is great and the free breakfast is almost worth the price of the room since they have great hot Southern fare like biscuits and gravy, bacon, eggs and sausage. The staff is very nice, too. I stayed facing the lake (recommended to avoid the road noise on the other side) and stayed on the ground level. I had a large amount of beetles and a few grass spiders staying in the room with me. Probably due to being on ground level on the lake, but I suspect most people wouldn't appreciate the additional roommates.
Very very beautiful view. Absolutely peaceful. The rooms are very clean. The beds are absolutely amazing. I have never gotten such great sleep. Walking distance to get food. Breakfast was great. Front desk did everything they could to accommodate our needs. I highly recommend staying here.
Our stay was very good. Room was very roomy, loved the plank flooring….so much cleaner than carpeting, large screen tv was a nice surprise. Loved that we were able to get a lakeside room. The breakfast buffet was good; potatoes, eggs, bacon, sausage, gravy and biscuits. Overall a good experience.
I wish I could say this was a wonderful place but it was pretty average. We were put in a street view room and WOW, all we heard was traffic all night long! The walls are paper thin! I had to open the door about 11pm and tell the people outside of our room to please be quiet we are trying to sleep. The hotel has been renovated but not the greatest renovation job. The grounds are dirty and not kept very well. The rooms still have old toilets and tubs. Will we stay here again, no, not for $150.00 a night. We will find a cleaner and more quiet place to stay.
Stayed here with my daughter for a softball tournament. Room was great. Staff was very polite and helpful. Free breakfast was amazing! View is amazing as well. If you stay I suggest getting a lake view room.
Great friendly welcoming staff all around . Everyone smiled and greeted. Clean rooms . Clean|Towels and even the housekeeping was great Md freeted us. My wife and i will be back soon and we know tjis summer for sure . Cant wait until our next visit
I stayed here for three days and the staff was fantastic. The restaurant had great options for breakfast and they had some fun nightlife at the bar downstairs. The only thing that I would change, is to get a room on the south side towards the lake the north side was by the highway and a little noisy. This is the place that I will stay at next year.
