Best WLM Reviews

This is terrible place to stay and spend your time having memories with your company here. First of all the park next to it has homeless people staying at night. It’s dangerous hanging out near here specially at night. Second. They don’t have place to park. There will be some employees driving costumes car all night on street finding free parking spot while smoking weed. The retro fitness next to it also makes lots of noise you can’t ignore. Starbucks and Burger King. If you looking for a nice quiet place to rest. This is not it. Don’t waste your money and time come to Rego park. All the pictures you saw online are from ten years ago and this is definitely fraud.
Clean room, decent service and situated directly above a gym. The noise is absolutely unbearable. Every couple minutes, you can literally feel someone dropping barbells below you. The noise might be better on the fourth floor, but the third floor has a nice walk-out terrace from your room.
no room service in three days, ||Very bad service, they did not clean the room, I asked the cleaning person and she said yes, At night when I returned everything was the same. I told the person at the front desk about it and he said I can give you other room, give me 20 minutes and I'll call you, almost an hour I called the front desk and left me on hold. So I when down stairs he told me all I can do is give you clean towels and sheets I had no choice but to accept, it was almost 11 at night in New York.||The last time we used this place.
This place is nothing like the pictures! When you open the backdoor of the hotel you are literally in a Burger King drive thru. The beds are super old and squeaky. I was even upgraded to a balcony room which is one large balcony shared by about 8 other rooms with no barrier (meaning someone staying next door could walk over and look through my window). I'm a camper and global nomad, and in no way high maintenance, but this hotel should not be advertising photos that are clearly from a different decade. All of that being said, the lady at the front was lovely and totally understood when I decided to stay elsewhere.
This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Apparently they are closing soon to make a shelter and they have stopped caring for their paying customers. No room service or cafe available as the hotel is under construction. Had to switch rooms as the first room given to me smelled like a smoker's lounge. The second room's TV didn't work and the WIFI wasn't working either. If it wasn't for Jeremy (Front desk) trying to help, I would have walked out last night. Then this morning I was woken up at 5:45am with construction across the hall from me. Again, worst experience I have ever had in any hotel. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
During my visit to New York in September 2023, I stayed at Wyndham Garden Hotel in Queens given its good location. The hotel is surrounded by great restaurants and the Subway Station is 3 to 4 minutes walking distance. ||Staying in Wyndham Garden hotel was a great choice and I would likes to express my sincere gratitude for the staff wonderful hospitality. Thank you all for your kindness, dedication and above all your patience with your guests.||Hospitality is making your guests feel at home, and it is usually done through personalization. The front office team (Crystal, Alex, James and Chris) provide a superb service at any time of the day and my stay there was very relaxing.||They provided me with comfortable and homely place, answered patiently all my questions and offered me different travel options around the city. They went the extra length to help me plan my daily trips and suggested ways to make the most of it. ||All of these, however, are not possible without having a dedicated team delivering services around the clock. ||Please accept my heartfelt gratitude!||Sincerely,||Hulda Niv
If you are looking for a sweet place that is close to LaGuardia airport….this hotel is perfect. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There was a shared patio outside my room. Both doors had safety features that could only be used from the inside of the room. It felt safe. The staff was very helpful. It’s less than ten minutes Uber ride from LaGuardia and there’s a few stores and Starbucks very close by. 1-2 mins walk. And a swanky bar next door. This room is perfect for 1-2 people.
I had booked rooms for next Thanksgiving weekend but unfortunately had to cancel yesterday due to my mother's cancer getting worse. The rooms I booked were non refundable and non cancellable which I was worried because I thought I'd lose out on any money spent and I wanted to comply with hotel policy. I called and explained the situation to the front desk employee who was extremely sympathetic and kind as I was currently dealing with an incredibly difficult time in my life and was stressed out and emotional. She listened to me and allowed me to explain my situation to the hotel manager. The manager was also very accommodating and undertanding after I explained. They were able to help me cancel my reservation without any charges or penalties. I really am thankful at how good the staff customer service is and how they care about their customers. I would definitely book with this hotel again and hopefully in better times, I will get a chance to stay a night and enjoy what they have to offer.
(PS please give this front desk employee a raise or promotion! She was incredible ????)
