Best WLM Reviews
The only good thing about this hotel is the location. This place is a dump and do not stay here. My roommate bed was infested with bed bugs she got multiple bites. Also they were not very accommodating after the situation occurred. The water was like warm at best. Housekeeping did not supply the room with toilet paper and the front desk didn't have any either. Please explain to me what am I supposed to do in the bathroom with no toilet paper. The rooms are filthy and I believe they have mold and mice issues. Definitely not worth any of the money that was spent. I will never stay at this place ever again.
The staff were certainly very nice and helpful. One major thing though was the snack machine area was closed off and during breakfast there is no paper plates to bring a guest that's upstairs sleeping any food nor lids for the coffee cups. A second major thing was the rooms were also not what one would expect for the money you pay to stay in it. The TV size and quality were also not what was expected plus a very generic remote with no channel options for speak of. I will say that as a procrastinator they were very kind and accommodating to the fact that I was not ready to check out exactly on time yet they didn't take the security deposit so that was a huge bonus.
My first impression upon walking in the doorways of this place was very great value. The lounge was very spacious and clean. There was a good amount of surveillance as well which at first glance I hadn't noticed but with further inspection I was greeted with strategically placed cameras which was very relieving and wasn't intrusive at all. Entering the room at first glance was very excited and I was happy to see the quality of the decor. The beds were extremely comfortable and the floors were clean. I didn't notice anything out of place but I did notice a few cosmetic issues within the apartment such as small holes in the plaster and a silverfish on the bathroom floor which was also where I found the aforementioned hole. Breakfast was pretty good as well but it disappointed me that we weren't able to bring our food back to our room. Pleasantly and surprisingly a gentleman that seemed to be part of the upper management approached us and asked us how we enjoyed our food and if there was anything they could do better. I replied honestly and mentioned that the sausages didn't seem that fresh and he took the constructive criticism surprisingly well and left us politely to our meal. Sadly I noticed the pool was under some kind of construction and the view of the courtyard from our room was blocked by trees. Overall the staff was very friendly and nonjudgmental. It may have had some small cosmetic and maintenance issues but it felt very safe, welcoming and high value. I'd recommend this hotel to anybody traveling in the area
*Not Pet Friendly* The room was clean and the staff was welcoming to me and my children. However I had to make other plans for my dog… the Google search filtered this as a perfectly hotel. But when I checked in there was box to check to confirm I understood this was not a pet friendly hotel and that if I brought my blowtorch I would be charged $250 or $300… I was frustrated because id been looking for “pet friendly” very carefully… but besides that we were comfortable and my kids and I enjoyed our stay.
My room was warm and cozy but room needs updating. A room with a capacity for 4 persons should have at least one towel bar. No place for towels other than hook on back of door. I guess I'm supposed to walk from the shower dripping wet to get a towel. Only 3 hangers in the closet. Glad I had a garment bag and my own hangers so could leave those 3 for roommate. The shower head was mounted 6 inches from the ceiling. The only way my 5'2" extended arms could reach it was to stand on the edge of the tub. Real safe. Took FOREVER for the water to get tepid.
Water in the restroom right outside of restaurant was cold exclusively. Big sign, "employees must wash hands." Not very comforting if kitchen staff use that restroom. Encountered rude staff in breakfast room. Someone must have complained because they were better the second day. On the positive, room had a microwave and a fridge with an entirely separate freezer compartment like in home models. There also were plenty of outlets for electronics, which can be a problem in hotels needed updating. The price of rooms per night was exceedingly reasonable. Others in our group had serious complaints that they should recount themselves.
We stayed here as a part of a wedding group. The hotel is dirty and run down. There was a roach outside of my room and the photos speak for themselves. We requested another room and we’re transferred to one that was cleaner with hardwood floors and a remodeled bathroom sink, but other than that it was the same. I do not recommend this hotel.
They triple charged us. Absolutely ridiculous. They charged one credit card twice, and another once, each for the total amount!
The front desk staff was unfriendly, and the rooms need some serious updates. This looked like it could’ve been a decent hotel about 50 years ago. There is also no lobby to gather if you’re with a group.
