Stayed for one night pre-cruise. Took the complimentary shuttle, which was already in the terminal luckily! It was a short drive to the hotel. We arrived around 5PM, so check in was quick and easy. We were exhausted so we didn't use the restaurant or pool. We did have breakfast the next day, ours was free as we were part of a group, but for the price they charge....not worth it!
All in all, I would stay again. The room was clean, although the floor was warped like it had water damage by the AC and could be replaced, and the bed was comfy!
We stayed here two nights, one day before our cruise and one day after. I think this place provides fantastic value and customer service from their staff, but the rooms need to be inspected, and ensure they have a deeper cleaning more often.
The first day, we were in a room facing the front road, and we heard the Cars all night. The room was also filthy and dusty. When we went to take a shower, the tub would fill with water. I included pictures of the vents in both rooms, both were covered in dust, as well as inside the air-conditioning. I had issues breathing on the first night but didn't overthink until the second time we stayed.
The second time we stayed, I woke up coughing in the middle of the night, unable to breathe. I left the room in the early morning for a few hours and found the breathing issue disappeared.
I think this place offers many great features like pools, gym, airport and cruise service, which are all excellent. But I want to ensure the place is properly cleaned before booking here again.
The people at the service desk did accommodate us when we asked to switch the room to the other side of the building the second night. Extend our stay to make our trip easier to the airport. The quality of sleep and ability to breathe was a big issue for me.
We had a pleasant 6 night stay. Room was comfortable and spacious enough. We had a nice view of the cruise port and surrounding areas. Front desk staff was helpful and kind. Breakfast was ok; the girls assisting were very friendly and courteous. Bar was quite busy our first night there and the young bartender, after serving us our food and drinks, chose to ignore us for the rest of the evening. We got his attention at one point and I asked for a glass of wine, but he never returned to our table nor did he even acknowledge us. After waiting quite a long time and watching him serve anyone who walked up to the bar, I went up to ask for my wine again. He walked right past me and just gave me a look. At that point I'd had enough and went to the little side "store", found a small bottle of wine, and we then went to pay for our meal and drinks. I have never been so ignored. I will say that there was an older gentleman bartender later in the week who was helpful and very responsible and served us just fine.
While we found the room to be fine and in clean condition, we were very disappointed in the customer service at this Wyndham Garden.|To start off the staff we interacted with all seemed to have a bad attitude and we overheard some of them talking about how they hate their jobs. There was no friendly greeting on check in and when we (Diamond level with Wyndham) asked for a late check out, which is usually up to two hours, the clerk rolled his eyes and then said “I can give you an hour before I have to charge you”. In addition, I had called a couple of weeks before to ask about a shuttle to the cruise port and the woman said they don’t have one. They do, you have to sign up for it the night before, but don’t bother as it is cheaper for two or more people to get an Uber. Plus the hotel drop off area is a mess. It is super small and jammed with cars and shuttles.|The buffet breakfast, which is similar to the free breakfasts you get at the economy Wyndhams, is $15 per person. We went to Grampas.|I would recommend booking somewhere else.

We recently stayed at the Wyndham Garden Ft Lauderdale Airport and found the experience to be just okay. The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, which made our travel plans easier. The staff were friendly, and the check-in process was smooth.
However, we encountered a couple of comfort issues during our stay. The pillows provided were quite small and didn't offer much support, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, the air conditioning in our room was mediocre—it struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature, especially during the warmer parts of the day.
Overall, the hotel met our basic needs for an overnight stay, but the comfort level could be improved. If you're looking for a place that's close to the airport and don't mind some minor inconveniences, this hotel might be acceptable. Otherwise, you might want to consider other options.
Not far at all from airport, about 10 minute drive. Took Lyft that was about $15 so not bad. Great overnight stay no complaints, nothing fancy but had room at end of hallway, super quiet got good rest. Breakfast $15 per person skipped that but did get complimentary coffee.
Positive: Clean, comfortable room with a comfortable bed. Location is great. Close to several restaurants, and less than 10 minute drive to Port Everglades, for those who are cruising. Negative: We did not experience any negatives during our stay. We would stay here again.
