Best WLM Reviews

I read a lot of reviews about this place and was hesitant at first but we had a good stay here.
It was 4 of us 2 adults and 2 kids 10 and 11 years old. I found out too late that they do have 2 bedroom suites here but you actually have to call to book them. I read a lot of reviews of the front desk staff not being friendly or helpful, I would 100% agree with that, I felt like I was nothing more than an inconvenience. The beds were comfortable, the pool was nice and big. The boys loved it was 8 feet deep at one end. The ocean was very nice, no riptides. The had live music in the Cabana on Friday and Saturday which was nice but you had to get there early if you wanted a table. It's an older hotel and it shows. The housekeeping crew was the most friendly and accommodating. The food at the restaurant was average. For the price, it was a good stay
So let me be fair, I paid for the location, you are within walking distance to the beach. Great location! But this is not a resort or you will get a luxury room, the rooms are small and the furniture and appliances are outdated, the outside not well kept at all, the pool is small, with 10 people inside the pool was crowded. If you are looking for a hotel with beach front this is affordable in comparison to the other places, but do your research. With in walking distance you have great choices for breakfast dinner or lunch. The cleaning staff work hard to make sure you're room is clean. Great job guys!. So do your research before you book your vacation.
This place was an absolute gem to stay at! Our rooms were facing the courtyard and had a blast dancing to the band. The tiki bar has the friendliest employees and all around make you feel like you’ve been vacationing there for years. The pool is perfect temperature, and if you forget a floaty like we did there’s a gift shop right there! Cannot wait to come back, thank you for the best time and memories!
I like this hotel. Great location right on the beach and the cleaning staff does a great job. Good AC and the amenities are superb. The restaurant and the Tiki bar are very popular with the locals. Great live music on the weekends. Nothing to complain about. I’m from Colorado, great vacation.
First off, location was amazing. Parking super easy and plentiful. But the rooms are a bit dated. A/C sounded like it was going to give out. It took a long time for our room to cool off. Our door got stuck trying to get in. They told me to jiggle the handle and the door to our room had a metal frame and it was starting to come off the door…they said it was renovated. Slapping on fresh paint isn’t renovation. The room was clean, until I saw a german roach. I was not happy. Not worth the money that was spent. It had 5 start hotel costs with motel vibes.
Fantastic staff from manager to front desk to maintenance to janitorial. Everyone has been so helpful. Love the restaurant and Tiki Bar - 2 for 1 drink specials are great. Music almost all day which we enjoy. And right on a beautiful wide beach. Everything shuts down around 10 so not too late for a good night's sleep. This is an older property but it was exactly what we were looking for.
A nice and simple hotel on beautiful Fort Myers beach! The standard (non-ocean facing) rooms are just big enough to hold one very comfortable queen or king bed, the showers have good hot water and enough water pressure. The microwave, coffee maker, and small refrigerator worked well. The bigger suites on the west side facing the ocean are still simple, but about 3 times bigger with two beds and have good views. The onsite restaurant is lively and serves delicious seafood! My wife and I stay at this hotel once at year now and we love it more every time we visit!
The hotel (this is more of a motel) is on a beach with a sandbar and a bit of distance between the building and the water. If you don't bring your own beach chairs, you have to either use towels or rent beach chairs & umbrella for a daily fee from a vendor right there on the beach. The beach was decent as well and loaded with tons of shells. We found great shells every day. The night before our last night, there was a thunder storm that rolled through and the next day the water was fantastic and clear. The rooms were decent (including a mini fridge, a small safe, iron, hair dryer, microwave) and the housekeeping staff was friendly. The rooms (at least our room) could use some maintenance though (paint and some serious scouring of the glass blocks in the shower, as well as some vent holes that probably should be drywalled to fit better, etc). The pool is a bit on the small side but was clean and inviting, although there were only 2 umbrellas (attached to tables) by the pool and if you didn't get there early enough to stake your claim, there's no chance to get one. The website boasts of a pool-side bar and 2 other bars but the pool-side bar is simply an outside bar that is completely separate from the pool and is one of 2 bars. The wait staff was great and the food and drinks were decent. There is a CVS and a plaza down the street (very short walk) for shopping and additional eating options.
