Beautiful hotel! In town for a football game and the hotel was amazing. Very clean rooms; great bedding! Breakfast tasted great! Staff was very nice. Swift check-in and parking was no problem. We will be back again! Keep up the good work everyone!!
We stayed here on 12/14 and it was awful. Not a family friendly hotel and seems run down or atleast our room did. See pictures in comments. We stayed in room 409.
Not to mention the doors/walls are so thin that you can hear everything next door and in the hallway. The ac was so loud in our room that it kept waking us and the kids up all night.
The breakfast I don’t recommend and they really can’t consider it a continental breakfast. It consisted of rock hard French toast that had no flavor, sausage links that are cold, cold egg and cheese omelet and biscuits. NO cereal, danishes, bagels, toast or fruit. Not family friendly at all.
Quick weekend stay to visit family. The property is attractive and grand in decor.
Our room was spacious and clean. It was different to not have an actual closet but only a freestanding wardrobe with drawers.
The bed was comfy so I slept well. The pillows see extra soft so I had to work them to get comfortable.
Lastly, the hot water and pressure in the bathroom was spot on. I will say the AC was funny. I had to adjust the temp before going to bed because it was extra warm. It's almost as if the temperature is set and guests aren't allowed to change it.
We didn't try the breakfast so I can't speak to that. We also didn't check out any other amenities. Overall, a decent stay.
Positive: Room was very spacious and Clean. The room's appointments were fantastic. Breakfast was great. Negative: Mirror light did not work, but hotel offered a discount for the inconvience.
This is a great hotel. The beds and linen are comfortable, A/C works great. Very large rooms, with living room and small dining area. They are clean. Check in was very easy. The water pressure was like a spa!! The best shower head ever!! We will be back soon!!
This really is a great place and they do a great job, however, be aware that they do not have the restaurant or bar that they advertise, or at least it is not open currently. Pretty disappointing when you were planning a family cocktail hour before going to graduation dinner. Perhaps a notification would help.
We usually stay at Wyndham Garden when visiting our daughter at TAMU, and the experience is great every single time. This time though, I would like to highlight Ana's help in reception because our visit was due to a medical emergency. Ana was very empathetic and gave an excellent customer service to make my daughter feel welcome right after a tough surgery. Thank you Ana for making their check in process easy and for your understanding about her needs. You are awesome!
Pleasantly surprised by this off the highway hotel. Nice staff, clean and spacious room for a good price. Didn't try the bar or restaurant, but the outside seating area is nice and cozy. Breakfast was very good, too...
