Best WLM Reviews

Stayed here Friday October 11. Upon entering our suite we noticed the lights to the living/kitchen area did not work. The light above the stove and in the refrigerator did not work as well.
Our sheets were disgusting. We slept on top of the comforter and used our own blankets and pillows. The bathroom mirror had not been cleaned because someone had wrote something on it and it wasn’t us..
Called down to the front desk and they told me there was nothing they could do for the night because no one was there to take care of the issues. When I checked out EARLY the next morning the girl at the desk said she would let her manager know and i would have a 50% discount applied. Upon speaking to the manager today he said the best he could do was 25% and it was my fault for staying the whole night. He was absolutely right. I should’ve checked out right after I saw how disgusting the place was.
Spend the extra money and stay somewhere better. It’s clear the don’t take care of their property or care about the guests.
I rented a room here for a Varsity stay and play event. Upon arriving at 9:00, we waited at the front desk to check in for over 30 -45 minutes while they frantically tried to help another guest find a room because they gave their room away. We finally were assigned room 210. The bathroom ceiling was full of BLACK MOLD! I went back down and let them know this was unacceptable we needed another room. I walked with the front desk gentleman on a journey to find another room. The one he took me to, the he opened the door and yelled “oh God” and closed it really quick. I asked him what happened and he just said that room is not available. On our journey back downstairs we picked up another couple that asked him to change room because their door didn’t lock. After going back down and searching through the computer he found two new rooms for me and the other couple. I checked the room and it seemed like it would do since it was already late and we had a cheer competition the next day. Whatever cleaner was used to shampoo the carpet was so strong that my eyes almost were swollen shut by the next day. I still have no idea what they were trying to hide in that room but it was enough to make you nauseous. So back to our first night. After changing rooms, around midnight someone tried to access our room. I ran to the door and yelled we were inside and she said well I’m sorry the front desk assigned me room keys to your room!!!!! I called the front desk and he said he would be right up, but never came. I barricaded me and my daughter in the room for the night. Fast forward to after the cheer competition on Saturday. We came back to the hotel and we couldn’t get in our room. I had to go back down to the front desk to ask what on earth was going on now. She said she had no record of me even being in room 232, she still had me in room 210 and they couldn’t figure out whose items were that room so they turned the keys off. This would explain why someone was given keys to our room Friday night. The guy never swapped my name on the rooms when we left the moldy room. The next day there was a family of homeless kids and a mom that camped out overnight on our floor. Reported this to the front desk as well. Breakfast, they rewarmed the eggs, sausage and potatoes from the morning before. Bagels were stale. This should have been a $40 a night hotel. Terrible! Submitted a complaint to the corporate office.
Had a one night stay for here. Toilet did not flush, bathroom was filthy and only had one washcloth. There were stains on all the towels. Immediately could tell room was not cleaned properly due to jelly being on top of the desk. Light in between the beds was unplugged due to the cord being a safety hazard and all bent up.
I was able to sleep, just to try to get some rest, but husband woke me up at 1 AM to say there was a mouse in our room and we are leaving. He spoke to the front desk and they refused to give a partial refund. Pay the extra money to stay elsewhere.
I missed my connecting flight out of Charlotte NC and the airlines put me up in this awful hotel. I am a senior citizen and need a cane when walking. When I checked in I asked for a room close to elevator. I was told they had nothing close so I took the long walk to my room. Opening the door I noticed the thermostat was on 60 (and I love it cold) however it was not cold. It was very warm so I knew that wasn't working. I then noticed there was a suitcase next to the bed and I could tell it was full. I immediately|left the room and took the long walk back to front desk. I explained what happened and got another room (which was just as far a walk as first room) When I opened the door I heard dripping. I opened the bathroom door and it was flooded and had all white gritty stuff around the tub. Back I go to front desk and all I could do is cry. I told the same person what had happened and told him he had to go and check this third room before I took that long walk again. After about half hour he said I was all set. Walk #3 and the room was ok. I could not find an ice bucket and I needed ice. I called front desk and said please bring me up a bucket. I was told I had to go down and get it they were not allowed to leave the front desk. I said please help me for what I have been thru tonight this is the least you could do for me. He answered with mam, I said we can't leave the front and hung up on me. So there I went with my cane and their two cups that were left in the room and made multiple trips to the ice maker. From the time I checked in until after my ice walk it was 2 1/2 hrs later. Seeing they have no restaurant I was going to order from door dash but it was so late. Also in their vending machines they do not carry water and I heard numerous people asking for water. Now it is morning time and I said free breakfast sounds good. I go to the breakfast room and found a disaster. Food was awful not filled up, bagels had no tongs to get them and area was not very clean. So disappointed.
This is what we could afford but I would definitely not stay here again and would spend the extra on something else. I do not write reviews often and I’m pretty laid back not super high maintenance person. This hotel was dirty… gum on elevator floor, carpet looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed. Front desk never answers when I called multiple times-but when I would go down they would be on their phone and didn’t even look up/acknowledge when I was waiting there. I had to speak up to get them to notice me. I had to go downstairs from 4th floor each time a question… WiFi didn’t work. No stopper in bathtub and there was no way for them to get me one. They would have to shut of water etc etc… did not offer to move me to a new room. We came here from Asheville after floods where we likely won’t have water for months and I just wanted to take a bath and get some work done for my job with internet. I’m so mad I wasted two nights hard earned money to stay here. It could be a nice hotel if staff/manager was willing to put in the effort. Front desk staff were polite so that’s a positive. Wish I could get refund and change hotels.
I recently spent 3 nights at this hotel. Upon checking into my room, I found I had 1/2 roll of toilet paper and 3 tissues. I asked multiple times for these items at the front desk. I was told each time someone would bring them to my room. No one ever did. I ultimately purchased them myself at a local store.
Also, I requested my room be cleaned just once over my 3 night stay. I specifically even spoke to housekeeping when I saw them in the hallway presumably cleaning other rooms. They were unable to fully understand me, as they spoke little English. However, they were more than able to say “no” multiple times when responding to my request to clean my room that day.
Finally, as I was checking out, I asked to speak to the management with the full intent of expressing my displeasure. The young lady at the front desk advised no management was on site. Further she seemed not at all concerned by the issues I had, including no offer to reimburse or credit me for the essentials I had to purchase with my own funds for my hotel room.
It's been 3 days since I have checked out and they only sent $50 out of the $250 deposit that I paid for 5 days of a stay. When I call they will not transfer me to the billing department and first time I called the guy at front desk lied and said my bank is the one holding my deposits. When I called my bank they said that's a lie because hotels are the ones that hold the deposits. They clearly are refusing to give me my money back and think I won't follow up with a legal approach. Y'all will definitely hear from me very soon for lying and refusing to give me my money. I advise no one to book here very unprofessional!
When I entered my room, there were no sheets on the bed. Dirty towels were left in the bathroom and floor along with a bucket of cleaning supplies. The ironing board was left out. I went down to the front desk. The clerk grabbed some clean linens and towels and escorted me to the room. He only had twin size fitted sheets for a queen, and I helped him make the bed with what we had. No flat (top) sheet. I asked for some pillowcases, and he said he would go find some and never came back. The comforter rolled up in a chair was nasty. The carpet was stained and filthy. The bathroom floor was sticky. Needless to say I did not sleep well.
The next morning, we waited for the shuttle mini-van to take us to the airport for over 30 minutes. Apparently it only leaves on the hour. My disabled traveling companion and I entered the vehicle at the top of the hour. The driver, realizing there was not enough room for everyone, yelled at us for our room numbers, and rudely kicked us off because we unknowingly didn’t make a reservation the night before.
