After reading reviews, I was pleasantly surprised with our stay here. Our room was spacious and clean. ||The free laundry room was a nice surprise, although I think the heating element is out on the dryer. Our clothes dried for an hour and were still wet.||The checkin process does need to be improved. Checkin is later than most places, and the lobby is generally packed at 4pm with a long line of people waiting to check in.
We had a great stay. Walking distance to the Falls, casino and town of Niagara Falls USA. Next to the rainbow bridge. With the money we paid i would say our expectations were met. Nothing fancy, amenities were basic. Room was clean and bed was comfortable, check in was fast. parking 20 US dollars. Will stay again if any good deal comes up.
My sister stayed here. The lobby was quaint. When I went up to my sister's room the room was smelled musty. Room decor was modern. But I could not get past the smell.
Location was perfect. Walking distance to the Falls and the restaurants near by. Although it was very difficult to find a family restaurant during the lunch hours because businesses open at later times there. She enjoyed her stay.
Nice location, excellent front desk staff and clean rooms. ||Short walk to the Canadian border and easy walk across the bridge. It was nice because we could just park and walk. Best view of the Galls is from the Canadian side so make sure you pack your passport.
If you want to get ripped off then go ahead and stay here. Was told that we had to put down an extra $75 for a hold for the hotel room and was told that we would get it back after the stay..well it's been since Thanksgiving and still have not gotten it back, called to find out why and was told it was the banks problem not there's. Called the bank and they said that it's the hotels responsibility because they were the ones who asked for hold not them. Called the hotel back and was told that there is nothing they can do that it's not there problem now and was hung up on. Absolutely horrible customer service and to do this to someone who was visiting from a different state for the 1st time, not the best impression to have..You should be ashamed of how you treat your customers!
Do not stay here.. CC scams! one of the worst places we’ve stayed in a long time. We saw a review the night we stayed (wish we read them earlier) someone said they had fraudulent charges on their credit card after staying here and it was the only place they used that card. We didn’t think too much of it and boom 2 weeks after we stayed, fraud charge from Buffalo NY and it was an in-person transaction and we still had the physical card. So they have a system to swipe/copy the cards, the guys behind the front desk seemed sketchy. The elevators felt like they were gonna break on us at any moment, the towel rack was rusty, room smells humid and gross. They charge more for a view that isn’t even that good, the only thing decent was the location but besides that, NOT worth the FRAUD. If you are reading this and it’s too late, just cancel your card and get a new one. Not worth the risk.
Don’t expect a 5 star hotel at 3 star hotel. I became skeptical after reading reviews, but I’m glad we stayed here. Everyone has different expectations. I don’t expect a hotel to be much cleaner than my own house. The room was clean and met my expectations. I booked this hotel due to its location. Great spot! We could walk across Rainbow Bridge to see the falls on Canada side , if we wanted. Although we took a rental because we also drove to Buffalo for a day. & we were walking distance to the falls on USA side too. We could see the entrance to rainbow bridge and the new balloon from our room. You could see Skylon Tower & Canada too! I think our room was listed as a skyline view with a king bed. Windows could have used a cleaning to enhance the view but it was still good. Starbucks was a plus!
Extremely dirty floors and carpets. Rooms are average and smell.of.mold. Extra taxes that aren't disclosed was an extreme disappointment.
Elevator was sketchy, talking you up and down multiple times until you were forced to get out and take the stairs.
Top sheets had definitely not been cleaned and has multiple stains on it.
Than later we found the same rates on line for much cheaper, with again jot disclosing a non state "tax"!
