I want to share my positive experience during my 4-day stay at the hotel. I had no complaints. When I booked my room online, I requested a room with air conditioning. When I arrived, I found the room to be pleasantly cool, which was perfect considering the 95-degree weather outside. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The housekeeper even went door to door offering extra towels. The hotel is conveniently located less than 10 minutes from the airport, but the airport shuttle isn't available 24 hours, so it's important to plan accordingly. There is a nice restaurant in the hotel, as well as a 24-hour Denny's next door and a 24-hour Speedway across the street. If I visit Cleveland again, I would definitely stay here and highly recommend it to others.
I was there for a banquet and my room was clean but did not have enough towels and I asked for towels about 3 times and no response because they didn't have enough help at the time, I finally got my towels, when it was time for me go..and people were getting stuck in the elevator before I came, my friend said she and other guests were there for a half hour before they got out of the elevator, so I did the stairs. I was on the 8th floor. I got my exercise. But in the end I had a nice time with friends. The food at the Banquet was good and the servers were great. Maybe next time I go back it will probably be a better experience. Ms. AD
The first room, the air conditioner temperature would not go up and cold air was coming through the vents. They changed the room and the same thing. Was cold the whole night in this winter. There was no microwave in the room for me to warm some food. That is a standard in all hotels. The breakfast is not free. They charge you $14 for it. This is false advertising. Don't lie to people.
This hotel was nice as we entered, but trouble finding parking spot- we parked clear in the back and 2 doors were " under maintenance " third door took awhile to get our keycard to work- entry was filthy with leaves, trash, cigarette butts- had to pay for breakfast buffet which most hotels offer for free- nothing spectacular- advertised hot tub and heated pool were both ice cold!! Pool area wasn't clean and had a gritty feeling dirty floor - peeling wallpaper in hallways- this hotel needs a serious cleaning and updates!! The front desk people were very nice and helpful!!
The facility is well maintained and conveniently located. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was large, clean, and quiet. Check in/out was via a text link which saved us a lot of time. We will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in the area. There are a couple of gas stations and eateries within a block to two of the hotel, and there is a restaurant on site. There is also a courtyard.
This hotel was very disappointing. No a/c in the room. The issue was not even looked at over 5 hours later after we returned from dinner and a show. Had to packup and wait 45 minutes for another room. It wasn't cool but it was cooler than the first room. We went right to bed and left the first thing the next morning. Parking is terrible. Half of the entry doors were out of order. The convenience store in the lobby only had a few bags of chips and many empty shelves. Maintenance and management seem complacent here. We were very disappointed.
The location is great. The Staff I feel really bad for as they are the ones falling on the knife for the lack of care for this hotel.
The Hotel (calling it a hotel is very generous, motel is more appropriate) had the following:
1. Stain on the sheet. I would be shocked if the room was ever cleaned
2. No Hot water. How does a hotel not have any hot water?
3. No internet. Was told that it was out for the day
4. No Soap in the room. Meaning no hand soap or no bathing soap
5. 1 towel in the room. When i called the front desk asking for more towels I was told that they hotel is sold out and there are only allowed to leave one towel per room
This "Hotel" has a great name but besides the name the hotel is a total dump. Don't waste your time and money going to this place.
I called corporate to express my frustrations and was told the hotel would contact me and no shock.... crickets....
Don't give this hotel your business. It's total bait and switch.
If u don't want your car broken into by the homeless right across the street or possibly robbed. But definitely shaken down if u walk to the store next door. This place isn't safe. I went to the Best Western on snow rd. They have a 24 hr shuttle to the airport and you can leave your car their safely. And it's only $10 a day.
