We stayed there because we could not make our flight connections. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. The shower was also good with ample hot water.
There are many rooms, so if you are far away from the hotel, you will have to walk a long distance.
The scenery below was view from my room 463.
Very nice and clean rooms. The beds are very comfy. Big flat screen TV. The bathroom is spotless clean with fresh fluffy towels. The front desk people are very friendly and professional. There is an airport shuttle 24 hours a day. I would very much recommend this hotel.
If I could leave 0 stars I would. We had a party of 12 people that park and flew with this hotel and we were given a print out showing shuttles pick up at OHare at the 15 and 45 of the hour. When we arrived home it was 30 degrees and freezing rain and we stood outside for over 45 mins with 50 others waiting on this hotels shuttles. Numerous calls were made and the front desk flat out lied stating the shuttle was there while we were actively on the phone with them, they weren’t. Finally they said they were sending all three shuttles and all three pulled in at the same exact time. These 3 shuttles did not have enough room for the over 50 people waiting for a ride that was promised from this hotel. Our group ended up paying for another ride. When we arrived back at the hotel (finally) the front desk agents refused to call the general manager or on call manager stating for us to come back in the morning. They refused to provide a direct line to the manager or call and let us speak to the manager. They refused to refund any of the nearly $400/ room for the 3 rooms we booked before flying out stating they needed a manager for that as well, but again wouldn’t call the manager in. As a Wyndham member and former employee, this is ludicrous. A manager 100% could have and should have been called when 50+ people are left in freezing temperatures, some for over an hour, and the service being paid for is failing to be provided for. I have filed a formal complaint with Wyndham and will continue reaching out to higher ups until funds are refunded.
We got laid over in O'Hare, American Airlines put us up here. Very nice. Friendly staff. Nice room. Buffet breakfast $12.95, good selection. Can't complain! Airport shuttle runs every 30 min.
Wish I'd realized how many food places surrounded this! I would have opted for something that wasn't frozen from "marketplace" by check-in. (Stayed because of flight delays, airline booked room).
Room was clean. I slept well. Lost my necklace charm down the sink and called the front desk. They had 2 maintenance ppl there in 10min. By 20min I had my pendant back and was headed downstairs. Made it with 5min to spare before 8AM airport shuttle! Thank you for the quick response and helpful staff!
We stayed overnight at the Wyndham Chicago O’Hare while traveling from Italy back to California. Many positives. Very comfortable bed. Larger than usual rooms. The drapes have special magnetic buttons to block sunlight. No wonder we saw so many flight crew checking in, too. We enjoyed a relaxing glass of wine in the lobby bar/lounge. Free shuttle to/from the airport. At O’hare all shuttles pick up at Terminal 2 arrivals curb (and some Terminal 5). It was easy to connect to this via the airport people mover tram. For our departure, the shuttle took us directly to our terminal. Excellent service.
I was a group with a group of 12 people flying out of the country On December 4, they knew that there were 12 of us leaving on a shuttle in the morning to get to the airport and they did not have accommodations for all of us to get to the airport at the same time then when we got back to Chicago on the 11th of December, and they were supposed to pick us back up at the airport. We were at the meeting spot that we were supposed to be add And called to have the shuttle come pick us up to take us back to our cars and they were very rude on the phone. We stood out in the cold for 45 minutes waiting on a shuttle to pick us up knowing that they would be 12 of us. They sent a small shuttle eight people were able to get back to the hotel. The rent remaining four of us had to get a cab I thought it was very unprofessional and we will not use them again
I experienced an unexpected overnight layover while traveling through Chicago O'Hare Int. Airport. The Wyndham was a very convenient for my layover. They take hotel vouchers from the airlines, I had no wait for check-in at about 7:30 pm, and they scheduled my 4:30 am shuttle to the airport (the shuttle driver was on time and courteous).
The rooms are nice and had everything I needed. The bed and pillows are super comfortable. I found a good dinner option 30 seconds away at a Longhorn restaurant. The tv had plenty of channels. Charge my devices in the room was super convenient. It also had a good assortment of items to purchase, such as the phone cable I needed for my android. I wish I could give them a 6th star for this, because my phone battery was almost dead when I arrived at the hotel.
