Best WLM Reviews

Would recommend highly. Best cabbage and Mac n cheese, flavorful ribs. They sell out quickly…Call in advance to time your trip according to what they’re cooking and when it will be available.
This place is a must stop. The people who work there are so friendly, and the portions are generous. I had the ribs, and my friend had the pig ears. Highly recommend if you’re looking for some serious barbecue.
Yall! Best country cooking I’ve had in the area. The food is delicious, the portions are more than fair, and the price is low! What more could you ask for? All this for only $31. Don’t judge a book by its cover, because this place will pleasantly surprise you and have you wanting to come back for more. The staff are very welcoming and pleasant too!
Found this spot on Google and decided to take a leaf of faith. It turned out to be a disappointment.
Typically, BBQ shacks like these with wood fire smokers are the best. Unfortunately , not this one.
We got a 6 ribs diner ($26), and a braise chicken dinner ($12)
The ribs were dry and chewy, I had a hard time swallowing the meat.
The chicken tasted ok.
The BBQ sauce was good.
Overall, the taste is decent, but i couldn't get over the quality of meat, tasted like low end meat. I ended up tossing thr chicken dinner, and I almost never throw away food!
For the price, I think you can better BBQ/ soul food else where.
I had a craving for BBQ earlier and wanted to try a new, less “commercialized” restaurant. The fact that this is a Black owned spot made it even better. I was not disappointed (other than by the 30 minute drive it took in Sunday ATL traffic to get there). The ribs were tasty, the greens were just right and the mac & cheese was super creamy. I really enjoyed the service I received as well, so the negative reviews are interesting to see. I’d definitely come back!
The food is soooo good and they serve large portions too. I am so glad that my daughter introduced me to this place for soul food because it is one of the best I’ve ever had.
Not sure when the last time the health department been to this place.
The place needs a makeover
I took a chance on supporting this small business.
Limited sides
Cobbler taste like 5lbs of sugar
BBQ sauce was good
Ribs dry & tough for $17 for 6 bones no sides
I couldn’t recommend this to any of the ppl I know.
The building did not look at all like the picture. The food was totally overrated. Nice people but it looked a hot mess, unclean. Won't be going back
