Best WLM Reviews

I can’t praise this staff enough, they were incredible. I’ve had really mixed experiences in the past with other offices, but this was above and beyond my expectations. All of the ladies were kind, attentive and made me exceptionally comfortable - from start to finish. They assured me throughout the process and encouraged me to call if I needed anything before my next visit. Brittany Beavers provided amazing care today and I look forward to upcoming visits, knowing I’ll be in very capable hands!
I am currently in labor with twins. I had a labor scheduled to be induced at 11am. I understand that it was busy and they need to push me back…no problem there. The problem is I have been here since 5pm, I have been checked once, I was 4 cm. And this was before I started any pitiocin. At 12:30am they gave me an epidural, at this time my “doctor” came in and basically said they were not going to break my water, to stop upping my pitocin….because other women were having their babies. It is 4:30am, I still have not been checked to see how far dilated I am. I spoke with my nurse to express my frustrations and still have not seen the doctor. Nor has anyone given me any updates on anything!!!! I have had 5 other pregnancies in VA and none of them did this. Highly unprofessional!!! I do not recommend!!!!!!
Terrible terrible practice. Money making is their sole purpose not actual patient care. Dr. Hott is absolutely the worst provider there. Unprofessional and rude. Glad to have found another Gyn who actually values patient care and good bedside manner. Good luck to their patients. May the odds be in your favor!
I have to write a review, because I still have not even been seen for my first appointment yet. I called this office to make an appointment around three weeks ago (today is October 16th), I come to my appointment this morning (that I wrote down immediately on the phone and double checked the address, time and date during this phone call) Just to find out, they actually never made the appointment and I had been waiting this long for nothing. I woke up early to come here, used gas to come here, and obviously time and energy of my life. Now granted, I did not get the lady on the phone ‘s name like I was asked, but I didn’t think I would need that. I was asked if I was thinking about my “therapy appointment later on this evening” and it made me feel like I was being looked at as crazy, like I had forgotten. Now I have to wait ANOTHER 3 weeks to be seen. If you need to make an appointment with this place, make sure you get every detail from the person on the phone because they are going to ask at the desk, Or just come in physically and make the appointment because obviously their scheduling over the phone skills need severe work. The only reason I’m even giving this a second star is because the person who I did talk to at the desk was still very very nice even though I was frustrated still trying to be respectful but holding back anger tears lol.. I am just hoping and praying that the rest of my appointments here go a lot better than today because this was a terrible first impression. I haven’t seen an OB in years and was super excited for my apparent non existing appointment today, which led to extreme disappointment.
Edit of my review after finally having my first appointment - ms. Korie Lippai and the nurse alongside her were absolutely WONDERFUL. She is very straightforward which I really like, but not in a way that makes you uncomfortable. I hope that this doesn’t come across as crazily weird, but as a younger woman, the way she came across to me almost gave me ‘mom vibes’ and that was super comforting to be around.. especially dealing with the topics going in about. She made me feel taken care of but also like I’m genuinely cared for if that makes sense. I’m very much looking forward to working with her and her team, and also I’m happy to change this review to 4 starts and hopefully higher along the way. Thank you so much to the wonderful people at wvu obgyn ❤️❤️
I had a new patient appt they called me while I was in the way there to cancel, didn’t even offer me the option to reschedule. A few months go by I make a new patient appt again. Day of my appt im checked in sitting in the lobby and they called me asking if I’ve been told my appt was canceled. Awful service
This office is terrible.
My wife was rescheduled 4 times, for something that never should have been rescheduled.Never mind being scheduled with a nurse practitioner and NOT a doctor, AGAIN, For something that needed to be addressed by a DOCTOR!!! AFTER ULTRASOUND CONFIRMATION!
Then when she went for pre op labs, the order was never placed!
The doctor it's very sweet and competent.
The staff is not.
I’ve been seen at this office twice and had positive experiences with the front office staff and the medical assistants. I saw Dr. Janoo both times and really appreciated her knowledge and care. I would definitely see Dr. Janoo again and would recommend her.
Today, I was supposed to have my initial visit to confirm my pregnancy. This is my first baby and I was very eager and nervous to have this appointment. Last week, I ended up developing shingles and I called this office to see what they advised me to do. On Thursday 2/22, the receptionist informed me that they were going to change my visit to a telehealth visit as a precaution, but that the provider would be able to order my ultrasound and labs from this virtual appointment. Appointment was supposed to be today at 1:00 PM. At 12:52 PM, this office called and left a voicemail on my phone saying I actually needed to come in person as they were not able to do this type of visit virtually. Obviously, there was no way I could make it in person with 8 minutes of notice. They were not able to reschedule me for over 2 weeks, well past the recommended 9-10 week mark. Unfortunately I am stuck with this appointment because no other clinics around here can see me sooner.
I had a good experience getting a procedural removal of a device. Korey was great and very calming. She gave me some good candid advice for my needs.
