This is our first time visiting celebrating our son’s birthday. The complementary edamame was wonderful. The atmosphere of this restaurant is just breathtaking. There is an area for hibachi. There is an area for sushi and then an area for casual dining. There were seats available when we enteredour waitress was very friendly and accommodating kept our water refilled the whole time we were there. All of our food was cooked fresh and hot and served quickly.
Very nicely decorated space, excellent customer service and the food was delicious and they give you a lot of it. We had two Orange chicken lunches, a General Tso chicken lunch, chicken fried rice, spring rolls and egg rolls. Definitely visiting again. 10/10 highly recommend.
Such a beautiful restaurant. From the decorations to the presentation of the food to the specialty drinks. Great service. Our server was so patient with us. I appreciated that very much. This was the best sushi I have had thus far in the state of Indiana.
Wu's house is a hibachi grill. We went for a family night dinner we sat there waiting for someone to take our drink order while the table next to us was sat and given drinks and salads before us????????
To us, it just seemed like they're just way too much unnecessary noise going on the chefs come out and bang on the tables with their spatulas. It's almost like every chef is trying to outdo each other with noise. HOUSE OF KOBE is where we'll be going from now on, plus the food portions at house of kobe are much better than wu's house
I visited Wu's House in Merrillville for a holiday lunch with coworkers. It was my first hibachi experience and it couldn't have been better! The service was excellent, and the hibachi chefs made it an unforgettably enjoyable celebration. Plenty of parking in the afternoon, though I can imagine it gets busy in the evening. Highly recommend for a fun and delicious dining experience!
I was in town from Texas. Food was incredible, service was superb, and drinks were on fire! Went for my 45th birthday, and they gave me a hat...????
This was my family's first time attending and we loved everything about it. We went for my son's 19th Bday and decided to try the hibachi side of the restaurant. We loved the decorations like the samurai statues and the beautiful Valentine's Day decor. I loved that they added the gratuity at the end and our chef was amazing and hilarious. We also loved the huge beverage that we shared. My family will be back!
WHAT AN AMAZING PLACE!!! We went for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. We arrived a little before they opened but let us in. The hostess gave us a takeout menu and explained the different varieties of food. They have regular seating or hibachi. We had planned on sushi, so we didn't go to the hibachi side. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and delicious. The servings were so incredibly HUGE!! They automatically calculate in an 18% tip on your bill, but the service and food were well worth it.
