The restaurant was clean. We were visiting San Antonio & since I’m born & raised in Chicago we had to try this place out. This is our second time eating here so I edited my review on 9/6/24 uploaded new pictures. Well when visit San Antonio again we definitely will not be eating here! The combination was not that good. The sausage was so little that I couldn’t believe they actually put it on the sandwich. The fries had no salt on them, we were just disappointed with the whole sandwich & fries.
This place has been on my to do list for a while and I'm frustrated I didn't get here sooner- it is an absolute gem! The boyfriend is from Michigan and has been desperate for a good hotdog and as someone who isnt a huge fan of hotdogs, I was hesitant. I was excited to learn they had a gyro option and OH BOY. BOTH OPTIONS WERE AMAZING. The gyro meat was incredibly well seasoned and the combo was reasonably priced. A little bite of the hot dog and I'm definitely open to trying more of their menu now!
Do yourself a favor and go here for some great food!
Been craving some great Chicago grub lately, decided to finally check out Wrigleyville Grill . I've been to the windy city and the food is phenomenal. THIS is better than anything I've had.. Met the owner who is from Chicago and got the hot and wet beef sammich and a dog both loaded and deconstructed so not to get soggy on the drive home. (Both are needed for an honest Chicago food comparison)

I had the Italian sausage combo! This is one of my new favorite eateries! This was my first time here and man, is it delicious! Hits all the right notes with the tang of the peppers, the sweet caramelized onion and juicy sausage!!! I plan to come here more often! Definitely a hidden gem!
It sure was a chicago dog! Spot on and tasty. Wife had a beef and said very good, especially being outside of Chicago. Tried a pizza puff for old time sake and it was not fried through, cold in the middle. Big disappointment for the kid in me looking to relive the experience. Overall good, but quite expensive for a hot dog/beef joint.
The food exceeded my expectations for a Chicago restaurant outside the 312 area code almost felt like I was back home in the 90s I absolutely love this place hope to visit more often.
They hit this out of the park. Google Maps brought us here. The service and the food will keep us coming back. I had the Italian sausage and beef with sweet and hot peppers. Wow. I love that the fries were not salted heavily. I'd rather add my own salt so that I can control it. I think I ate most of the fries before the dog LOL. This friend that I went with had the classic Chicago dog. They said it was really good, it looked really good. This needs to be a regular stop. And I want to try the Greek side of the menu as well.
The food was very good and with a lot of flavor. I would definitely go back has a pretty extensive menu.
