Best WLM Reviews
I like different styles of pizza depending on what mood I'm in. Their specialty is thin and crispy, and they do it very well. We ordered the house special pizza and an antipasto salad and enjoyed them both. The service was friendly and courteous as well.
We have been loyal customers for the last two years at Wrigley’s Pizza formerly known as Chicago Pizza. We have loved going to this pizza place whenever we are craving thin slice pizza, it was amazing.
This was our first time going since they have changed the name to Wrigley’s Pizza and WOW we were extremely disappointed. Typically we order a pizza and wings when we go, but man was it really terrible today.
The wings are now these thick monstrosities that are full of fat and extremely dry. Had to throw out half of them, because it was so bad. The pizza was just okay the dough tastes a bit different, but it was pretty mediocre compared to what it used to be.
I hope management sees this and improves the taste of the food to its former glory. ????????
Great Chi Town style pizza. Crispy, thin crust. Nice vibe. Great service. If you like pizza you need to try this. Go! You won’t be disappointed.
Stay away.
This place is apparently under new ownership, and it's an absolute joke.
Let's run down from the top.
$3.50 for a fountain drink...with no refills. Cups went ignored the staff the whole time.
Staff seemed in a hurry for us to leave (we got seated around 8ish and left just after 9).
House pizza was nasty. Sauce was completely separated, greasy, and had a metallic taste. None of the topping (or cheese) would stick to the pizza. Mushrooms were canned. Overall, it was just a bland and flavorless pizza.
Boneless wings - the wings were clearly frozen and reheated. The sauce had a weird, unpleasant, almost chemical aftertaste. One of the 10 wings was barely bigger than a marble and didn't even have chicken in it...it was just breading, but still counted of one of the 10 count, apparently.
I couldn't bring myself to try the chicken ranch pizza, but my wife was unimpressed and didn't finish hers.
The garlic parmesan poppers were a good idea, but had bad execution. We did the Hoosier version with the cheese sauce. The sauce was bland, flavorless, and clearly not made in-house. The poppers were undercooked and still tasted of rough flour in the middle.
Small restaurants like this need to execute at a much higher level than this and not rely on bland, frozen, pre-made ingredients if they want a chance to survive the current climate.
Finally, different prices for cash and card customers? Seriously? Card fees are a cost of doing business. You shouldn't be worried about the 3% card processing costs. You should be worried about all the people who won't be back to eat this lousy food.
This was my first trip to Wrigley's, and also my last.
Wrigley’s does not need my review, it’s already a great pizza joint. Great tavern style pizza just what we’d been looking for. Made me feel like I was back in Chicago. Ate a 12” in and a 16” to go. Just as good reheated.????
Great place. Pizza and knots were delicious. Italian beef pizza was better than I imagined and would definitely order again. Must stop if you want pizza. If I did one bite rating easily 8.0.
Great, thin crust pizza!! A must. The sausage is fresh made, not too salty & kind of fluffy. Get the sausage as a topping! Friendly staff too! A friend from Chicago took me here because it’s one of his favorite places :)
Stopped by Paul’s Pizza because we enjoy the Clearwater location. They are in the process of changing their name to Wrigley’s Pizza. We were really looking forward to some Chicago deep dish pizza, but were shocked to learn they do NOT serve deep dish. They only do at the Clearwater location. What?! How do you call yourself a Chicago pizza joint? They basically only serve thin crust. Everyone knows that Chicago is known for their deep dish and NY serves the thin crust. Although disappointed, we still stayed for lunch. Service was excellent. They have some nice lunch specials, which include sandwiches and personal pan pizza. They include a drink, and a choice of fries or side salad. We recommend skipping the side salad, as it was a skimpy helping that barely resembles a salad. Otherwise, the food was good. The hot Italian sandwich was made well and the thin pizzas were great. While we’re glad we decided to stay for lunch, if you’re looking for Chicago pizza, this isn’t the place.
