Best WLM Reviews

First of all you have horrible staff. They really need to know how to be nice to customers. Not flexible at all. I had made my reservation for wrong dates and there was no chance given to me for fixing it. Instead I was asked to pay extra to get the desired days plus the wrong ones. too. And the bed I received hadn't even cleaned. The sheets were there as the last person left and nothing had done at least to make it look clean. You probably need staff for maintenance. And the quality was very bad. The bed was not comfy at all. There were no enough lockers inside the dorm of 10 packs. There were only four lockers and I had to go use a locker all the way in the kitchen. Water taps in both the kitchen and restrooms were very weak. I had to wait for a while for water to fill my hands. In short, I didn't like anything. And for sure I won't come again. I also would not let anyone I know stay here either.
Waste of nearly $300. Bugs, Dust, Noisy Beds, and Disgusting people. Lot of the guests don’t have manners and will talk very loudly, snore, and pleasure themselves despite others in the dorm. I changed rooms and beds to see if the situation would change. But no. This hostel is the equivalent of a Drugged Up Homeless Shelter. The front desk is only there to take your money and not solve any problems. Checked out a day early with no refund. Do not choose the hostel. Sleeping on a park would be better. Perhaps the hostel owner can make repairs and clean their building instead my making snappy and arrogant responses to reviews on Google.
Bare bones hostel named after the stadium. This hostel attracts the worst types of people. Some will snore loudly, some will pass gas, and others will dry hump their beds. One thing to note is that the beds are flimsy and make noise at the slightest turn. The guy in the bottom bunk was humping the bed, so it felt like an earthquake. There is one person behind the desk from 10 AM- 8PM. So after the person leaves the guests decide to get rowdy. They didn’t give me a refund for the rest of my stay so I and going to try my luck in an another room. Honestly the hostel would be better it had a screening process for guests and beds that didn’t squeal at the slightest movement. I traveled across America from San Francisco to Philadelphia. I stayed in various hostels and I would say this is the worst one. Ear plugs, ear muffs, and even a fan would not block the noise of rowdy disrespectful roommates.
Updated: I definitely take responsibility for the parking ticket. It just would’ve been nice if the receptionist at the time actually walked us through the most important part (parking).
Very clear that this hostel hides behind “it’s policy” and the policies have nothing to do with customer service. Instead of defending your honor, maybe take some constructive criticism and learn.
Hope you have a great day too!

I’ve never had a more disrespectful service staff. “Do you know how to read?” I was shocked. When I actually had questions, no one was there.
Only give you a 1 day parking pass, so be ready for a ticket.
Even though it’s advertised everywhere (literally in every room and common area), there is no daily breakfast served.
Microwave didn’t work.
Great location though!
EDIT: they changed rooms for the remainder of my stay, very gratefull but would hope for better after hours communication.
Extremely noisy radiator, haven't slept in 2 nights, maybe someone important sees this and will do something about it for my last 2 days in chicago.
Location is great for events in the area. Other reviews are accurate about rude guests. My key pass and other guests keys wouldn't work and had to leave the door open. The one woman on staff was rude to me on several occasions. Cheap good location but I wouldn't expect much positive customer service. Won't be using again based on the customer service experience I had.
If not for all the super squeaky beds, I’d give this place a better rating. We wanted to be close to Wrigley and since we just needed a place to crash/shower this seemed like the best option. So, sleep was the priority but the beds kept us both awake. The one pillow was awfully lumpy but flat. Not great for someone with back and neck issues. Everything else was fine - basic as expected.
Perfect location in Wrigleyville about 1 block from Wrigley Field. There is so much to do in this area, restaurants and bars. Rooms and common areas are clean. I've been here several times
