Best WLM Reviews

8/30/24: Good beer/cider selection. Staff was attentive and friendly. Ordered a burger and cod fish and chips. Really good food.
Disappointed to see so much disposable though. Plates, utensils, and cups all disposable.
Got the clam strips, cheese sticks, French fries and clam chowder. It was all as advertised. Everything was hot, the chowder (house made) was on the cooler side, but I also have a food temp thing. The cocktail sauce was OK, seemed like heinz out of the bottle. I like a cocktail sauce with a horseradish presence, and it was lacking. They're was only one person serving, and she was managing a full house. The beer selection was good. Overall, I would visit again.
Stopped by for lunch on my daughter's birthday. I had the ahi tuna fish and chips. Pretty good! Not the best I've ever had, but pretty good. Staff seemed friendly, but stressed. Whatever it was I hope it gets better. The place is for sale, so perhaps that had something to do with it. Good beverage selection and a relaxed no hurry atmosphere.
Great little pub. The food was delicious. We had halibut fish and chips and a halibut wrap. The beers were also tasty. We had Nebula an oatmeal stout, one of the best I've ever had and 2 IPAs which were also very good.
They handle the staff shortage in a fair and friendly way.
We will be back and others should try it out..highly recommended.

Looking for Seafood, since we were at the coast. The "Cannon Balls" (deep fried mushrooms) were the best thing we had at this location. The Chowder was pretty good. The fish and chips were below what we were expecting. Small and not tasty.
Staffing was two people, one counter and one cook. The restaurant was almost empty when we arrived, but 1/2 to 3/4 full when we left. You order at the counter, pickup at the counter, and bus your own table.
The decorations were fitting and nice for the restaurant style and menu.
A sign at the cash register said "The restaurant was forvsale."
Made ourselves regulars here during our stay in the area. The cod fish n chips were SOOO good. Locally brewed beer was tasty. Even on a very very busy weekend (4th of july) it wasn't very busy inside at all. The barrels made into tables smell so good when you walk in. The bartender server lady was trying really really hard to be nice, our first few visits she was short & seemed annoyed to serve us. Overall, a really great place w good beer & delicious food!
Fantastic joint. Tasteful (and fun) decor, a clean environment, friendly and fast service, and delicious food make for an exceptional dining/drinking experience.
The halibut fish and chips, chowder, and fish tacos were all exceedingly fresh and colorful, and are highly recommended. The drink variety is extensive and we were pleased to see that there were a number of options on the kids menu.
10/10 would gladly dine here again!
Went there Saturday for dinner. Been there before and loved it so went back. Well wow is the best description.. lady behind the counter was beyond rude, bacon burger came with no sauce so we paid the extra $2 for a little mayo and ketchup. Then the same lady was even ruder about us asking for the sauce and said no one wants sauce on their burger. Sad as we will not go back. Hope they find a new owner to step up the customer experience before they loose more regular folk
