I enjoy the stay here. Not bad drives from varies attractions. San Francisco is about 1.5 hr drive away depending on time you leave from Windsor . Wine country and lots of it. Red woods are close. Russian River and drive is beautiful.
I enjoy having the WorldMark advantage. It makes this day feel more like home and be able to go out and come back. Rather than staying in a hotel.
This is our fourth stay here to visit the wine country over the past ten years. Every stay has been fantastic! Location, location, location. There are too many wineries in the area to even begin to count. And... when you need a break, the pool, hot tub, and additional resort facilities are readily available and excellent. We have found the staff to be helpful and always pleasant. We look forward to returning.
It's a long review, but it's crucial if you aren't a time-share owner!! I booked and paid for a room in full months in advance directly on their website. Three days before check-in (and just 2 days after the 'get ready! Your trip is almost here! email), I received an email saying they had too many 3rd party reservations and mine had been canceled. I have a guest flying in from out of state, and I can't just change my plans. They offered me a hotel off the freeway with a pullout bed that was $100 less online, yet they wouldn't refund me for the difference. The woman I spoke to tried to justify the change, saying it was the same type of room when my original confirmation clearly stated I had paid for a 2 bedroom. I'm now scrambling to find an alternative and ultimately paying hundreds of dollars more for comparable accommodations. When I called a local hotel to book directly, he said they get a lot of customers from Worldmark because they do this a lot to 3rd-party reservations, so BEWARE! You are not guaranteed even if you are paid, you can be bummed at any time, and you will not receive equal accommodations. The woman I spoke to tried to say I was getting a 2-bedroom, and had I not been looking at the hotel online, I would have settled for a king suite with a pullout bed, worth $100 less than what I paid. They should be ashamed of themselves. They clearly overbook in case timeshare owners don't fill up, then bump third parties if they do.
Beautiful landscape around the resort. Clean and calm atmosphere. Good size pool. Our unit was clean and comfortable, just what we expected. We were checked in by a lovely lady. Things always get uncomfortable with the service desk. They want people to attend an "owner's update," which is nothing but a sales pitch. They are ALWAYS so pushy and don't take a no for an answer. Other than that, everything was great.
WorldMark Windsor is a wonderful resort nestled next to a golf course in Windsor, California.
The resort is very well maintained with spacious rooms, multiple swimming pools, and jacuzzi spas located throughout the resort! There are BBQ's and picnic tables available on resort grounds and each unit has its own BBQ on the patio. There is playground equipment and a shallow pool for children. In addition, there is a basket ball court and other outdoor games available. In addition to the lobby, the admin building has an exercise room, game room, and grand room for all to enjoy with comfortable furniture, fireplace, and large television to enjoy.
The accommodations are up to date, clean, televisions in living areas and all bedrooms, fireplace, kitchens, decks/patios with BBQs, and table/chairs for your enjoyment.
Do yourself a favor and check out WorldMark Windsor; you will not be disappointed!

Thank you!
Great 2 bedroom 2 bath fairly close to the pool, large jacuzzi, and reception area. Had everything we needed to cook/BBQ a meal, but still close to restaurants, wineries, and church on Sunday. Staff was really friendly and helpful.
A very comfortable and enjoyable experience. Very family friendly and short drives to great restaurants. Rooms were clean and comfortable with plenty of closet and drawer space, pool area is very nice.
I cannot say enough good about how wonderfully the Worldmark Windsor handled a reunion that I arranged for a group of professional colleagues who gathered there for 2+ days to celebrate 50 years of friendship. I reserved 8 units, and they managed to somehow get all of our units of varying sizes very close to each other in the same building. Each guest received personalized reunion welcome gifts and excellent service. None of my guests had ever been to a Worldmark before, and they were impressed with the size and quality of the units, and the way they were treated by staff.
Management went out of their way to get a couple of our units ready early due to the fact that I was hosting a reception for the whole group that needed to start shortly after check in time. They lent us some folding tables and chairs so that my guests could all sit together for meals and conversation and reminiscing for hours in my unit over two wonderful days and nights.
We had one dinner at Charlie's at the adjacent Golf Club, and their new chef did a wonderful job. They set us up on the shaded patio, and the sunset over the small pond was stunning, and made for a perfect setting for our farewell dinner.
Sandra Medina and her staff went out of their way to make this a special time for us, and we are very grateful for all they did. My husband and I have spent many wonderful times at Worldmark Windsor, but this time was the best ever.
