Best WLM Reviews

The staff were very friendly and had a room nearly ready for us, at 10 am when check-in is 4 pm. The bellhop gathered all our belongings and placed them in my room, so grateful as there were six short steps into our courtyard suite. The rooms in the courtyard are bigger than the main building and are very nicely equipped. The courtyard enters into the Cameroon and then the heated swimming pool with a nice hot tub. The location is only 9 blocks downhill to Pike Place Market, and there are numerous restaurants nearby. The monorail to the Space Needle is four blocks away as well. Really enjoyed our stay here.
It was a very nice staying experience staying here. My stay was one of the best of its kind. I liked going up to the sky room and looking out, and I imagine you could see further before all the big buildings were built, but it was still nice. They have a piano, and they let me play, and that was great. And the rooms are nice.
We have been owners since 1997 and have stayed at The Camlin several times.
1) The musty smell gets worse each year.
2) The owner education push is HORRIBLE. We had to see three different people at three different stations before we had even been to our room. Your staff are rude, demeaning, and incredibly pushy. No thank you means NO THANK YOU - it does NOT mean please ask more pushy people to talk to me about "owner education" when we all know that is code for give us your money. It's like you choose to piss your guests/owners off on purpose.
3) Bad mouthing your corporate website, phone representatives, and other staff makes you appear unprofessional.
The best thing about this resort is the location to the Paramount and Ruth's Chris.

Steps away from paramount theatre. Blocks away from Pikes Place Market and Waterfront. Gorgeous old converted hotel. Fantastic front desk personnel and concierge. Free wine or soda and popcorn for happy hour.
We were in a studio hotel but had lots of windows and a great mini kitchen, and the Murphy bed was even comfy.
Nice full kitchen for anyone's use in game room. Big hottub and nice pool.
SCAM ALERT!!! It’s a complete SCAM!!
Please do not fall into the trap. Never visit this place. They invited us for a tour (from a booth at Southcenter mall) and timeshare presentation and charged us $40 (first red sign- paid directly to the vendor’s name) with a promise that we will be getting a tour of Camlin hotel plus a vacation stay of 4nights at one of Wyndham club properties.
We spent 3 hours listening to the presentation, talked to 4-5 different devious people and quickly realized its completely bogus and a big scam that Wyndham is running. Now they are under Travel+Leisure, so they have even a bigger scam up there.
Whenever we said “No”, they would just shrug us off and be very rude. At the end, some random guy came and got our signatures at various forms for the vacation package which turned out to be generic and bogus brochure which anyone can just print at home using chatgpt. Luckily they gave back $40 in cash we paid.
This is such a bogus pyramid scheme they run, asking for 60k right away and telling us that it’s a great deal! They also offered us finance option with 18% interest and marketed it as if we are only paying $750 a month to vacation.
Such a shame Wyndham!
It was a nice room. Great location. Kind staff and a nice hot tub. Great conversation with the other guests. We had a good time here at The Camlin. I would certainly stay here again next time I am in the city.
The pros: it’s downtown, walking distance to restaurants, the convention center (it’s right across the street), about a 12 min walk to Pike Place Market and a 35 min Walk to the Stadiums. They offer 35$/day underground secured parking.
The Camlin itself has some history behind it; it was originally one of Seattle’s first residential hotels. They have kept some of the original hotel decor. The rooms are nice enough but, not the nicest of the Worldmark facilities. The studio room was pretty small for a couple. It worked for a weekend-any longer than that and you would want at least a one bedroom.
Not much for amenities on the property. The pool and hot tub are outdoor and they were closed for the winter. They have an entertainment room with TVs, seating, an arcade game, shuffleboard, and some self serve vending. There is a terrace with a couple grills.
Laundry is provided in the guest floors. The gym is basic and small.
Check in is pretty standard for a Worldmark- they will attempt to get you to attend a presentation and entice you with a “free” stay. They even called before we were about to check out to ask if we would want to attend a presentation that day. I feel like Worldmark has been really hawkish in trying to get guests to attend their presentations my last few stays.
The parking garage is a bit of a pain if you plan to come and go. You have to ask security to let you into the garage every time you want to leave as the door is locked since you have to enter from the exterior street of the building.
Lots of street noise and the room we were in was above the entrance of the hotel-we could hear footsteps or some sort of thumping cadence in the mornings. So bring earplugs and white noise if you’re a light sleeper.
No AC either so the rooms can get a bit warm.
Whew. This one was rough. My friend has been a member for over 20 years. We stayed for 4 nights. And, this was my first time experiencing a time share location.
Besides the room being hot and no AC, it was doable after a while.
This review is the customer service we encountered. As many times as we said, we weren't interested in their upselling. They were very pushy about it. We even got a check-in call one afternoon, which I thought was nice. But, it ended up being another attempt to upsell. Crazy! Especially since my friend (the timeshare elite member) has been with the business so long, you would think to give some peace and quiet. Showed me that time shares are not it! We've stayed at numerous places in Seattle, and this was the worst experience. Besides the customer service, which was none. The parking garage is crazy. There are no signs to really show how to leave the parking garage and little to no signs to get to it. Then, we had paintings blocking the entrance/exit while we were there. In a super tight squeeze in exit. This was crazy to see, especially during prime time hours.
We also bumped into an extended member as well, who has 7 properties and is a long-standing member of over 30 years. Said the same thing. The very, very pushy service. And, the parking garage. Horrendous.
