Best WLM Reviews

It was very disappointing for us as the hotel cancelled our reservation a day before our vacation. We booked few months in advance and did full payment as well. They did not give a damn about where we will go and we’re not even apologetic about canceling. Then they offered to book us at some crappy 2 stars hotel nearby. I would never recommend this place for anyone. There are better hotels like Promenade Inn and Seashore Inn that has great service and sea facing rooms that you will enjoy.
Always September is best time to come to get good weather. This is good place to come with kids because a lot of room, heated pool outside.
Hot tub
And my favorite washer and dryer inside.
The staff is very friendly but they try too hard to get people to get membership.
Stayed with family here for a reunion. Bed was comfy, temps were nice enough to not need a/c. Plenty of hot water with good pressure for showers, laundry, dishes. Timeshare, not a hotel, so you have to reach out to staff when you need additional towels, toilet paper, etc, but they responded promptly. Great location to beach and shops. Balcony views of beach and sunsets!
I would give this place a negative star if I could. Please avoid this place at all costs. They are running a timeshare scam, fooling people and lying through their teeth. The sales people bother you from the moment you check in and keep on passing you to the next person and royally waste your precious vacation time. They make unsolicited phone calls to your room all the time. The only reason we stayed there was because a family member was pressured to buy “discovery points” by the sales team because they just wouldn’t let them leave otherwise. They don’t treat you like a person, they don’t take no for an answer and hold you hostage until you buy something from them. If you don’t buy, they insult you. After buying the discovery points for two thousand dollars, it’s was next to impossible to book as dates were just not available. It was impossible to find any dates during summer. Since the points were going to expire, we booked whatever off season dates that were available and to be honest it would’ve been cheaper to pay out of pocket versus buy the points for 2K then use the points to book off season room in a dated hotel without any AC. When we checked in, we were told it was mandatory to attend another sales pitch where they try to push timeshare on you. When we told the sales person we had no intention of buying and buying the points was a mistake, he told us “only fools make mistakes”. So he essentially called us fools because we would let him scam us. I don’t know how these scammers go to sleep at night. I also can not believe this is legal. The property itself is dated and disgusting and has no AC. The only good thing is the ocean view.
This was a miserable experience and for the amount of money spent, I am very disappointed.
When checking in, I thought that I had reserved a room with a balcony and an ocean view (west facing), but instead I was told that I would get a two bedroom room where we could see the ocean if we were on the balcony. Not exactly helpful since it was raining the whole time, but fine- we planned to go out to the hiking trails anyway.
We had spent hours driving to the location but after arriving, instead of being able to go to our room for some much needed rest, I got to have a high pressure sales person try to get me to pay money to listen to a 90 minute sales pitch. We only had two days and I'm certainly not wasting 90minutes of it. Why are you trying to make guests pay for a sales pitch?
Then our room- the smoke alarm in the bedroom started chirping at 1am. We called the front desk for assistance and a security person came up shortly after. Instead of replacing the battery though, he took the whole unit down! (It was never brought back) Then in the same room, the overhead light turned on, by itself, about every hour! We got no sleep at all.
The morning of checkout, I see a notice under the door saying that we needed to take out our own trash, wash the dishes, and be out by 10am. 10am? Really?
We got no sleep either night, then had to clean the place before being booted by 10am. This was miserable and I will never go back. I've spent half as much money for great experiences in the same town but had seen this site during our previous visit and as it was our anniversary, thought I'd pay the extra for the fancier experience. Instead, it was terrible. I can't think of anything that was positive and related directly to this stay. There were things in town that were special and a pleasure to see- but those things were related to the town and not this 'resort' (and I use the term loosely).
We made it home yesterday and are absolutely exhausted after not having any sleep for two days.
Something is different this year — staff was extra helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We always love coming here for convenient access to shops and beach. Pool could have been a bit warmer as we visited in the fall. But overall, we love Worldmark.
We’ve stayed here at least 5 times on a family member’s timeshare. The rooms are nice and spacious with lots of amenities. However, it takes forever and lots of reminders for them to get anything to you. They’re more concerned about selling you more of the timeshare than they are actually meeting your needs while you’re there. Quite unfortunate.
Conveniently located on Boardwalk at the promenade turnaround. On the beach. Hot tubs are great and hot. Room with beach view is dependent on what room you get. Covered parking for the most part.
